She received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2001. She is a certified Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health through the University of Maryland School of Nursing and the National Certification Corporation for Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing. Alyssa is a busy mother of three young children. She loves spending time with her family and still manages to exercise regularly.
