Eric Blake, ND, Dipl. Ac., is an expert naturopathic physician and the medical director of Portland Clinic of Holistic Health, providing care in Downtown Portland, Oregon. Dr. Blake received his Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He presented his undergraduate work on cross-cultural medicine and religion in Cairo, Egypt at an International Conference in 1992. Upon graduating, he was an herbalist in Cincinnati as well as working alongside an experienced Japanese acupuncturist in New York City. Dr. Blake went on to complete his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). Dr. Blake is a certified massage therapist, certified exercise trainer, and he is a certified Diplomate in Acupuncture (DAc) by the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He is a member of the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Blake is a three-time recipient of the Benedict Lust Award from NUNM, recognizing his community leadership in naturopathy. 

Dr. Blake has spoken at congresses around the world in Paris, France, London, England, Barcelona, Spain, Czech Republic, and at state and national conferences across the United States,  on naturopathic treatment of cancer, digestive diseases, diabetes and the use of naturopathic physiotherapy. He has been published on multiple occasions in physiotherapy teaching textbooks for physicians, professional textbooks, and is the co-editor and contributing author of Naturopathic Physical Medicine (2008). He was a contributing author to the clinical textbook Fibromyalgia Syndrome a Practitioners Guide to Treatment (2009) and Chronic Pelvic Pain and Dysfunction (2012). 

Since 2006, Dr. Blake has served as the chief attending physician and medical director of the Outpatient Naturopathic Medical Clinic at the Portland Clinic of Holistic Health. He is also part of the adjunct academic faculty at NUNM as a supervisor of resident physicians and teaching the history of American naturopathic professions.

Dr. Blake is always furthering his education and continues to research naturopathic physiotherapy and its various benefits across multiple conditions.

Amy Meoli, MD, is a board-certified pulmonary disease doctor at Own Sleep Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, and Vancouver, Washington.

Brenda is a Family Practice Physician who was born and raised in the Portland, Oregon area. She is the mother of three grown daughters and has recently become the grandmother of her first grandchild. She attended college at Pacific University, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology in 1991. After college, she went to medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University and then completed her medical residency in Family Practice at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills, California in 1998.  She went on to work at Kaiser Permanente for 16 years and was the lead Family physician on the East side of Portland.

She also worked as a physician at Providence Health & Services for 4 years, where she was given an award for the highest patient satisfaction rating. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, she was the Chief Medical Officer at an Emergency Intake Site on Ft. Bliss Army Base in El Paso, Texas where she oversaw the medical care of Covid-19 patients, along with other co-existing medical conditions. 
 
In her free time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors and has hiked many trails in the Pacific Northwest. She believes in living a balanced life so that she can provide the best medical care to the patients who entrust their care to her.

Dr. Benz graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine, in Canada where he is originally from. He completed his medical residency at Hurley Medical Center. Dr. Benz enjoys using both his medical knowledge and his teaching skills to help patients make decisions that are consistent with their health goals. Many of his patients have been with him for over 20 years. He enjoys spending his free time with family and traveling.

Denise Palke is a native Oregonian and has been a family medicine doctor since 2010. She trained at Loma Linda University and then graduated from the Providence Milwaukie Family Medicine Residency in 2013. She has practiced in a variety of settings over the last 12 years, but as time went on, she started wondering if there was a better way to help her patients achieve optimal health. This led her first to a board certification in Lifestyle Medicine and ultimately, to training in functional medicine. She is planning on sitting for her functional medicine certification exam in 2026. Dr. Palke’s own journey included a diagnosis of celiac disease in 2020. After the diagnosis and admonishment to “do your best to avoid gluten,” she was sent back into the world thinking there must be more to it than that. She discovered functional medicine as a way to address how she got here in the first place, how to move towards healing and how to hopefully prevent future autoimmune conditions.
