In 1999, Dr. Olson started Olson Chiropractic, Inc., focusing on chiropractic care and rehabilitation. In 2012 he expanded the clinic into Pure Health Physical Medicine, adding medical services to provide convenient integrated services for patients in one location. Dr. Bastani is a Licensed Family Medicine specialist in the state of Illinois. He graduated from Rush Medical School and received his residency training at the Northwestern University-St. Joseph Hospital Family Medicine Program where he also served as chief resident. In addition, he completed an externship in Family Therapy at the Family Institute of Chicago, a Northwestern University affiliate. In addition to 25 plus years as a faculty member of one of Chicago’s leading Family Medicine residency programs, he has worked as a private physician in an ethnically diverse neighborhood of the city since the 1990's. He has extensive experience in hospitalist medicine, and previously served as the Medical Director of an alternative health center focused on the care of AIDS patients. His areas of special interest and expertise include academic evidence based medicine, geriatrics, complex medical cases as well as general family and preventive medicine.

Chiyoko (Chiyo) Rando, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in Gastroenterology at Advanced GI, LLC. She proudly serves patients in Chicago’s Lake View/Lincoln Park area, as well as patients who hail from various other neighborhoods throughout the Chicagoland area.

Chiyo earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, before completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Ohio University. She enjoys all aspects of gastroenterology, including treating hepatology and inflammatory bowel diseases.

She is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and supported, and strives to approach care from a holistic and comprehensive perspective.
