Dr. Nasreen Ghazi is a board-certified family medicine physician providing comprehensive primary care in South Florida. Dr. Stephanie Coriolan is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine, dedicated to providing compassionate, efficient, and patient-centered care. She earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami/Holy Cross program in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Prior to joining AssociatesMD, Dr. Coriolan practiced primary care, where she managed a wide range of chronic and acute conditions. In addition to comprehensive primary care, she regularly evaluated walk-in patients and treated various urgent issues in-office, including dehydration, respiratory and urinary infections, skin infections, minor burns, heart failure exacerbations, and lacerations.

Dr. Coriolan’s approach to medicine is deeply influenced by her upbringing. Raised in Haiti by two physician parents, she developed an early appreciation for compassionate care and the importance of serving her community. She is committed to taking the time to listen to her patients and tailoring treatment plans to meet their individual needs, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.

She is fluent in French and Haitian Creole and has intermediate proficiency in Spanish, allowing her to connect with and care for a diverse patient population.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Coriolan enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and maintaining an active lifestyle through Pilates.

Brian Ibrahim, MD, is an experienced, board-certified family medicine physician at Pinnacle Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida. He has over a decade of experience helping patients achieve exceptional health and disease prevention in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Dr. Ibrahim earned his Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry and business administration at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He completed his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in the Netherlands.

Dr. Ibrahim completed a family medicine residency at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, New York, where he was Chief Resident. 

Dr. Ibrahim has been practicing in the Memorial Health Care System for over 10 years as one of the premier hospitalists. He was the medical director of Memorial South Hospital Group and is currently the Chief of Family Medicine.

Dr. Fernando A. Laracuente is our clinical director and leading medical provider at our offices. Dr. Laracuente received a degree from Nova Southeastern University with a specialization in Exceptional Education/Special Services and Nursing Education. He received his Master’s Degree in Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practice in Family Health and a Master’s of Science in Education in Family Therapy/Marriage Counseling with a Minor in School Counseling. Recent achievements include a post-masters graduate certificate in psychiatric mental health throughout the lifespan.

Dr. Laracuente is a pioneer, as he opened a nurse-operating full functional clinic under Florida's law of autonomous practice. His practice is holistic in that he emphasizes that wellness can only be achieved through balance between our bodies and our minds. His integrated approach can be seen in his ability to manage both primary care and psychiatric conditions.

In our clinic, we treat patients of all ages, from babies to seniors. We provide both primary care and psychiatric services for people of all ages. Dr. Laracuente has attained three distinguishable National Board Certifications through the ANCC and AANP – Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health, respectively. He has a license in Florida and New York. 

Dr. Laracuente has been a teacher for more than 20 years. He has taught at major universities, such as Nova Southeastern University, Miami-Dade College, and Universidad del Turabo (part of the Ana G. Mendez University System). Both Miami-Dade County Public Schools and private medical clinics have used him to evaluate the abilities of children with disabilities, as well as the need for services for children and adults. He is considered one of the founders of the Master's in Child Protection at Nova Southeastern University. His research led to the development of a course that is required to get this graduate degree. 

Dr. Laracuente has served in leadership and investigative roles for the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the NYC Administration for Children's Services, where he specialized in neglect, physical, and sexual abuse. He specializes in various forms of trauma as a therapist and provider.

Dr. Laracuente has extensive experience conducting psychiatric assessments required for bariatric weight loss, as well as early intervention. Additionally, he regularly conducts comprehensive developmental evaluations to assess developmental disorders in children (i.e., language delays, autism, ADHD, learning disabilities) and has become instrumental in ordering early services for these children.

Kirenia Santiuste, DNP-PhD-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner serving patients at AssociatesMD in Davie, Florida. She holds an Autonomous Practice Endorsement in Florida due to her vast knowledge and expertise.

Kirenia was born and raised in Cuba, where she decided at the age of 5 to dedicate her life to the art of medicine and her patients (who were dolls at the time). Her parents were the engine that would push her to pursue her dreams. Kirenia attended medical school in her native city, bringing several years of competence, experience, evidence-based practice (EBP), and endless commitment to AssociatesMD and the community.

Kirenia has been practicing as a primary care provider since 2016 and holds a Master of Science in nursing and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she received The Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence due to her stellar performance as well as the Chancellor’s List Award for five consecutive years. 

Kirenia also practices as a women’s nurse practitioner, certified colposcopist, and mentor, which was granted due to more than 4,000 direct clinical hours in an OB/GYN private practice. Kirenia completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice core components and combined it with a PhD-candidature at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

Kirenia has been extensively recognized by her colleagues, nursing organizations, and patients for her professionalism, charisma, leadership, patient care, excellence, and commitment to clinical practice, including the NCQA for preventing diabetes and data measurement. 

In her free time, Kirenia loves spending time with her beloved family. She enjoys reading, going to the movies, and caring for her orchids, her favorite flowers. She is also active in her son’s extracurricular activities, school PTA, and the community.

Sean Del Grego, DMSc, PA-C is a Doctorate level III Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) coming to us from Northwest Florida. He graduated with honors in 1998 from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio through the United States Army. Dr. Sean is a retired Army field grade officer whose last duty assignment was with the 6th Ranger Training Battalion (RTB) at Eglin Air Force Base. He is also a Bronze Star medal recipient for his actions while serving in the Iraq theater of operations, where he supported combat missions and gained over 36 months of combat medical experience. 

In 2018, Sean earned a Doctorate of Medical Science specializing in Family Medicine. In addition to his clinical work, he has been an adjunct clinical professor at South College since 2021 and previously held a similar role at Florida International University (FIU). He has extensive experience practicing medicine and a passion for teaching, making him a valuable addition to our team. 

Dr. Rebecca Yaras is a skilled family medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 2014, before completing her medical education at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she graduated in 2020. Dr. Yaras then pursued her residency in family medicine at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, FL, completing her training in 2023.

Dually trained and previously employed in both primary care and urgent care medicine, Dr. Yaras has honed her ability to manage a diverse range of medical conditions in a fast-paced environment. Her background equips her with a broad skill set and a patient-centered approach, essential for delivering effective and personalized care in family medicine.

Dr. Yaras is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and focuses on preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness. Her approach is guided by a commitment to understanding each patient’s unique needs and working collaboratively to achieve their health goals.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Yaras enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, playing sports—particularly basketball—and traveling. These interests help her maintain a balanced lifestyle and foster a well-rounded perspective on life and health.

Dr. Shubin is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive and empathic care to all his patients. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Temple University in 2011, Master of Sciences in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences at Drexel College of Medicine (Hahnemann hospital) and completed his medical education at the Sackler School of Medicine, NY/American program, Tel Aviv University, Israel, graduating in 2020. Todd Glassman, DO, is a Board-Certified Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine specializing in Family Medicine, Primary Care, and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment at AssociatesMD. Dr. Glassman sees patients at the multi-specialty medical group’s office in Plantation, Florida.

In 1996, Dr. Glassman graduated with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University, Health Professions Division, College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU) in Davie, Florida.

In the past, he has been a clinical assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and was formerly the owner and Medical Director of Around The Clock Medical Center in North Miami Beach.

He is well-versed in health, wellness, and diet. He is also the author of The All New American Diet, a book he wrote and educated patients during his time in North Miami Beach.

Dr. Glassman has been practicing Family Medicine for over 25 years and is Board-Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOA) in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.

Amanda Berg, MD, is a skilled, board-certified internist at AssociatesMD in Plantation, Florida.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Berg completed medical school in Detroit at Wayne State University, then moved to New Orleans for her intern year at Tulane. After Hurricane Katrina, she returned to Detroit and finished her residency training at the Detroit Medical Center. Following her training, she followed the rest of her family to Florida for the sun and warm weather.

Dr. Berg is passionate about metabolic syndrome, including elevated cholesterol, diabetes, and hypertension, often working closely with patients on diet and nutrition to help improve these medical conditions. She has been practicing medicine for over 10 years and feels comfortable treating many medical problems. She will go out of her way to ensure her patients always get 100% of her attention, and she treats every patient like family.

Dr. Berg lives with her three sons and husband. When not at work, you can find her traveling, exercising, and chasing her kids around.

Jennifer L. Curro, APRN, is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner at AssociatesMD. She is proud to provide exceptional care to patients at the practice's Plantation, Florida, location. 

Jennifer originally attended the University of Phoenix in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. 

While working full-time in the Emergency Department of a well-known and loved Hospital in Weston, Florida, she completed her Master's in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice. Her hard work and dedication paid off as she graduated with honors from both programs.

Jennifer is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Nurse Practitioner Council of Palm Beach County, the South Florida Council of Advance Practice Nurses, Inc., the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Emergency Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau, The International Honor Society of Nursing. 

At AssociatesMD, Jennifer enjoys working collaboratively with her patients to find ways to improve their overall health. Her plan of care objectives for her patients are based on health promotion and disease prevention. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Joelle Estrada, MD, is a dedicated Board Certified internal medicine physician with nearly two decades in practice. At AssociatesMD, Dr. Estrada provides patient-centered internal medicine in the Weston, Florida, office. 

Dr. Estrada was born in Manhattan, New York, and raised in Paraguay. She earned her medical degree at Universidad Nacional de Asunción in Asunción, Paraguay. 

Dr. Estrada completed her three-year internal medicine residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She stays up-to-date with her medical education to make sure her patients always receive optimal care.

Her focus is preventive care with a holistic, whole-patient approach. Dr. Estrada seeks to keep her patients healthy by combining body, mind, and soul, allowing them to enjoy the best possible quality of life. 

In her free time, Dr. Estrada’s favorite hobbies are watching her son play soccer, spending time with loved ones, and helping her children grow into happy and thoughtful people who respect others.
