She also spent time as a College Biology and Pre-Med Mentor for the STEMPREP program at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.

Dr. Jeannette Kelly is a dedicated family physician, working in association with Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. She is a reputed alumna of Michigan State University, where she received her medical training and her bachelor’s degree. She completed a residency in family medicine at West Suburban Medical Center and advanced her clinical abilities in primary care sports medicine with a fellowship from MacNeal Hospital.
Dr. Kelly is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine with a sub-specialization in sports medicine. A renowned practitioner, she is a member of organizations such as the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

Dr. Barrett attended Virginia Tech for his undergraduate degree, studying biochemistry. He earned his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Barrett’s treatment philosophy is one of empowering the patient: “Patients have the right to be heard and to partner with me to create a treatment plan appropriate for their individual needs and situation”. His clinical interests are primary care, preventative medicine and LGBT health.

Earning her medical degree from the University of Munich, Dr. Lengyel pursued further training in obstetrics and gynecology while in Germany before moving to the United States to work as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of California San Francisco. After publishing multiple articles and book chapters, Dr. Lengyel returned to clinical medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at West Suburban Medical Center.
Her treatment philosophy is to appreciate that every patient is different and in turn, to provide them with the deserved individual attention and treatment. She believes in listening to patients, educating them about their diagnosis and treatment options, and caring about their wellbeing. Dr. Lengyel values the inherent variety of Michigan Avenue Immediate Care’s patients who continually keep her “thinking, rethinking and learning”.
What Dr. Lengyel loves about being a physician:“I greatly enjoy meeting new people every day, listening to their stories, educating them, and helping them feel better.
