A Pennsylvania native from Abbottstown, he began his career in aviation, earning a degree in Aviation Science and working as both a flight instructor and commercial pilot for American Eagle Airlines. He later transitioned to medicine, obtaining his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at the Penn State Family and Community Medicine Program and has over 10 years of experience in family medicine. In addition to providing comprehensive primary care, Dr. Assalita is board certified in Addiction Medicine, allowing him to offer a broader range of support for patients with substance use and related health concerns.
Damir Mujic, DNP, FNP-C, has almost a decade of direct patient care experience ranging from primary care to infectious disease. Dr. Mujic specializes in preventative medicine and has a special interest in providing care to the underserved to help his community flourish. He’s received a Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice specializing in Organizational and Systems Leadership from the University of Southern Indiana. Originally from Bosnia, he now calls York County home with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he like to stay active as an amateur athlete. You can also find him teaching nursing students and refereeing local football games. He loves to camp and spend time with his family.
Dr. Robert Strony is a board-certified Emergency Physician with over 18 years of frontline experience and a reputation for leadership, innovation, and patient-centered care. A Scranton native, he has spent more than two decades serving the Danville region. He has held key roles including Emergency Medicine Residency Director, Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Director, Quality Officer, and Chief Population Health Officer. Dr. Strony will serve as Emergency Medicine Director at Wayne Memorial Hospital while continuing his leadership at StrongURcare. Nationally recognized in Point of Care Ultrasound, he holds certifications in Advanced Emergency Ultrasound and Critical Care Echocardiography. He also earned a Physician Executive MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Population Health. As co-founder of StrongURcare, he is committed to delivering "A Different Level of Care." Outside medicine, he enjoys life on his hobby farm with his wife and four children.
Samantha Berger, PA-C is an NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in Emergency Medicine, now focused on delivering high-quality treatment in the urgent care setting at StrongURcare. She has practiced within St. Luke’s University Health Network and Wayne Memorial Hospital where she delivered comprehensive, patient-centered treatment across a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions.
Known for her strong clinical judgment and ability to quickly build rapport with patients and families, Samantha is skilled in performing thorough assessments, developing accurate diagnoses and executing effective treatment plans.
