Being a staff nurse for 11 years prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner taught me a lot about caring for the patient & family in a holistic manner. Caring for a person's emotional & mental health directly effects their physical health. As an integrative medicine practitioner I strive to look at the whole person to improve their health & do that through counseling, diet, lifestyle changes, use of supplements/herbs/vitamins, referrals if needed, specialized testing, food sensitivities, etc. I want every patient to feel comfortable telling me about any problem or symptom. No matter how many times the patient has been told by other providers that "all of your labs are normal" or "you are fine" or "its in your head" I am here to tell you that is false & that is not the way that I practice. I will believe you & help you. If I cannot help you, I can & will refer you to others who may be able to help. I collaborate with many providers in the area. Bottom line I am here to help
