Dr. Havard joined HealthyU Clinics in 2021. She previously worked as an outpatient family physician at two Banner Medical Group clinics in Phoenix, Arizona. She also worked at Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, Arizona, mid-pandemic, as a hospitalist.
Dr. Havard completed her residency at Abrazo Central Family Medicine Residency Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. She attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Marteen.
During medical school, she spent her third year in Chichester, England (where she met her husband), and her fourth year in the United States.

Nicholas was born and raised in Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis as an undergraduate, receiving his bachelor’s degree in physiology in 2015. He then completed his physician assistant training at Touro University Nevada in Henderson in 2021. After graduating, Nicholas moved to Phoenix and joined HealthyU Clinics in early 2022.
Nicholas enjoys taking the time to provide education to his patients. He believes in employing shared decision-making with patients to ensure compliance with the treatment plan and to maintain patient autonomy. He is also passionate about mental health and enjoys working closely with the behavioral health management staff to help meet the needs of his patients.

Carla is an enthusiastic Board Certified Physician Assistant who works closely with Dr. Bashir. Carla is an Arizona native and completed her undergraduate education, locally, at the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. She then earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She developed a strong interest in cardiology during PA school and is enthusiastic about learning all there is in cardiac care. In her free time, Carla enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling, and skiing.
Daniel Talamo, DO, is a primary care physician. He serves patients at HealthyU Clinics at our Avondale, Arizona, clinic.
Dr. Talamo began his professional career with Adelante Healthcare in Goodyear, Arizona, where he worked for two years. In 2021, he joined Amwell Medical Group and then in 2022, he joined HealthyU Clinics at their first clinic in Avondale, Arizona.
Before working as an osteopathic medical doctor, Dr. Talamo attended Binghamton University in New York, receiving his bachelor's degree in cell and molecular biology. After graduating, Dr. Talamo graduated from the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, and completed his family medicine residency at Houston Medical Center in Georgia in 2019.
In his free time, Dr. Talamo enjoys exercising and working out. After work, you can find him boxing/kickboxing. On the weekends, you can find him hiking or preparing for his next half marathon. Umesh Narayanan, M.D. is a native of Tampa, Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies earning a Bachelor of Sciences at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida (Go Gators!). He completed his medical school at Saba University School of Medicine in the Dutch Caribbean. He completed his Family Medicine Residency training at the University of North Dakota in Minot, North Dakota. He then went on and completed a Geriatrics Fellowship at the University of Arizona Geriatrics program here in Sun City, Arizona. He loved the area so much and has found permanent residence in Phoenix, Arizona. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine and is Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also an academic preceptor for the geriatric fellowship program through University of Arizona/Banner Health. He has fellows and residents rotate with him once a week. He is married. His wife is a Physician Assistant in Dermatology in the area. In his spare time, he is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching and playing football, basketball, and baseball. He also enjoys hiking. Traveling the world and trying various cuisines is his passion.
YuJie Shui, D.O. was born and raised in China and spent his high school years in the greater Phoenix area. He graduated from Boston University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He received his Doctoral degree from Midwestern University – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. He completed his residency training in Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, Arizona. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
He is married with two lovely children. In his spare time, he loves cooking a variety of cuisines with his family. He also enjoys playing and watching sports.
Seokhan Kyle Song D.O. is a board-certified family medicine physician who believes great care starts with listening. With years of experience providing full-spectrum care—from everyday checkups to managing chronic conditions and performing in-office procedures—he offers evidence-based care tailored to each person’s needs. He has a special interest in preventative health, wellness, and making sure his patients leave the clinic feeling informed and confident about their care.
Dr. Song served for 12 years in the Virginia Army National Guard as a combat medic and field surgeon, caring for hundreds of soldiers in multiple deployments overseas. That experience taught him the importance of staying calm, focused, and compassionate—skills he brings to every visit today.
He was born and raised in New York. He earned his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and also holds a Master’s in Physiology from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is fluent in English and Korean and loves working with individuals and families from all backgrounds.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Song enjoys life at home with his wife, three kids, and two cats. His hobbies include golfing, hiking, building reef aquariums, assembling Lego sets (sometimes with his kids, sometimes not), playing board games, and watching movies.
