Andrews, MD, MPH, FASAM, is a board-certified addiction medicine physician and family medicine specialist with over three decades of experience in patient care, public health, and medical education. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Andrews has dedicated his career to serving diverse communities, from rural migrant health centers in Virginia to immigrant and refugee populations in Houston, Texas.
For over five years Dr Andrews has worked with patients experiencing opioid addiction. Elizabeth Finsness, or “Liza”, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Dallas, TX.
She graduated from University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She competed on UGA’s NCAA Equestrian team where she was named All-American four years, obtaining a National Championship and two SEC Championship titles. She earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky. Liza began her dermatology career in south Florida where she practiced general and surgical dermatology for 2 years before moving to Texas. She has since earned the title of Diplomate Fellow as a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Being a native Floridian, Liza recognizes the importance of skin care and prevention of sun-related ailments. She is passionate about patient education and preventative medicine. She is well versed in medical dermatology as well as surgical dermatology. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, traveling, exercise, and spending time with family and friends
