She relocated to Texas in 1997 and worked at The Texas Instituted for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) before returning to UTMB to continue her education. She graduated from UTMB as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has special interests in Women’s Health, Diabetes and Hypertension. She also works with Medtronic initiating and training patients for insulin pump therapy. She is also trained in cosmetic procedures i.e. Botox, Juvederm and laser therapy.

Originally from sunny Southern California, Kristen graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine, and earned his medical degree in Rhode Island. Along with primary care, Kristen specializes in women's health and genetic medicine. He leads a genetics lab at the Texas Medical Center, serving as the primary investigator in various clinical trials involving gentic engineering, and gene splicing

Eva was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and moved to the Rio Grande Valley with her family at age 10. She graduated cum laude from St. Edwards University in Austin with a Bachelor’s in Biology in 2017. Eva received several academic scholarships throughout her academic career and maintained a position on the Dean’s List. After college, she spent her first postgraduate year working in the Emergency department and volunteering at rural clinics in Mexico and Peru. Eva then attained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. She is bilingual and motivated to help the Corpus Christi community in their skin needs. Eva’s interest in helping the community and passion for overall skin care is what drove her to pursue a field in dermatology; her interest was further motivated during her clinical rotations. Prior to her arrival at Heights Dermatology, Eva specialized in Internal Medicine in Mcallen, Texas. She is passionate about providing evidence-based care and enjoys staying up to date with new techniques and products out in the market. Eva received personal training in dermatology from Dr. Alpesh Desai, DO, and Dr. Tejas Desai, DO. She practices in the areas of general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Eva is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Eva enjoys exercising, spending time with her loved ones, and traveling.

Zoe Apted, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Houston. Joining the Heights Dermatology team in 2019, Zoe brings incredible expertise. 

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Annie is originally from the Houston area and attended high school at St. Agnes Academy. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Nutrition in Business. She obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UTMB in 2019. 

Before completing her graduate studies, she gained hands-on experience working as a clinical care coordinator in hepatology at the Houston Medical Center.

In addition to her background in nutrition, Annie holds a keen interest in skin care and in preventative medicine through lifestyle and diet. Building a strong relationship with every patient is an integral part of her practice. Having received personal training in dermatology from Dr. Alpesh Desai, DO, and Tejas Desai, DO, Annie practices medical dermatology, skin cancer surgeries, and other various skin procedures. Amneh Amro is a Physician Assistant that graduated from UT- RGV in 2012 and moved to Austin to pursue her career. She has worked in family medicine and urgent care settings for several years. Barbara Kiersz-Mueller, D.O., is a board-certified family physician who has specialized expertise in headaches, ADHD, sports injuries and child development. Dr. Kiersz Mueller treats patients through THINK Virtual Health.

Dr Kiersz-Mueller was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to Florida with her parents and siblings at the age of 15. Dr. Kiersz-Mueller majored in chemical biology for her undergraduate studies at Stevens Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science. After graduating in 2010, she enrolled at the Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine to complete her medical degree.

Dr. Kiersz-Mueller undertook her internship in family and osteopathic medicine at the Medical College of Georgia from 2014-2015, and completed her residency in family and community medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences San Antonio from 2015-2017, where she served as chief resident during her senior year. She joined THINK Neurology for Kids in 2020. Dr. Kiersz-Mueller holds certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.

When she is not devoting her time to young patients, Dr. Kiersz-Mueller takes great pleasure in spending time with her husband and hiking and paddle-boarding with their Dachshund. Seth Keating, PA, is an experienced physician assistant serving patients at Calvary Medical Clinic in Cleveland, Texas. He brings a wealth of education, skill, and ambition to the practice, focusing on evaluating and treating a wide range of patients, from adolescents to geriatrics. 

Mr. Keating received his education and training in 2012, graduating cum laude and earning his master's degree in physician assistant studies from Texas Tech in Midland. Dr. Keating began her journey into medicine by earning her Bachelor's degree in 2011, followed by her Master's degree in 2014, both from Texas A&M University.
