We would like to welcome Dr. April Kavanagh, MD, MPH to the Arlington Family Practice team! Dr. Kavanagh completed her Masters in Public Health at the University of Texas & her Medical Degree at Texas A&M University. She started her trek north for her Family Medicine Residency training at the University of Virginia and stayed for an additional year to help start a cancer survivor-ship clinic. Dr. Kavanagh is passionate about disease prevention, nutrition, & taking a holistic and individualized approach to patient care. She loves seeing and caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds, but has special interest in caring for cancer survivors and aiding in cancer prevention. A Massachusetts native, April grew up on the North Shore rowing boats, and hunting for crabs and periwinkles. She is excited to finally be back home close to family, and looks forward to building and becoming part of the Arlington community!

Dr. Morvai received her bachelor’s degree and President's award for honors in Biochemistry from Ohio State University. She continued to get her medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Morvai completed her residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Nan Meguerian graduated with a BS in Biology in 1996 from Villanova University, located in Villanova, PA. In 1999, she went on to obtain a Masters in Science in Physician Assistant Studies at DeSales University in Allentown, PA. Nan moved to MA in 1999 after getting married and in 2000 she began her PA career in Waltham at the Walk-In and Primary Care center which served as an urgent care/internal medicine clinic to Waltham and surrounding city residents. She enjoyed the continuity of care that this facility allowed. She worked here until 2002, until she decided to take some time off to start a family and is now the mother of 2 beautiful girls. The love for her profession could not be ignored and she happily went back to work part-time in 2009 where she worked at Bolton Family Medicine until July 2012. Here she was able to focus more on her love of pediatrics and women's health, while still treating chronic conditions. Nan joined our practice this July of 2012 and has been a delight. She is kind, caring, compassionate, and a diligent provider. Her outside interests include hiking, her absolute love of reading, listening to 80s music, baking, and trying to spend as much time with family and friends.

Dr. Teri Ciccone, M.D. lends his leadership as a board certified physician to the aesthetic practice of Renew Aesthetic Medicine and Wellness, located in Southborough, Massachusetts. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.   He completed his residency in the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.  Dr. Ciccone has vast experience as an emergency medicine physician, working as an attending physician in a busy emergency department as well serving as Medical Director of two high volume urgent care clinics.

Hanna Sutton is a board certified Physician Assistant. She completed her undergraduate education at Loyola University in Chicago. After undergrad, she went on to work as a medical assistant in a dermatology practice, she also fell in love with dermatology in the process. Upon earning her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Butler University in 2020, Hanna began practicing as a dermatology physician assistant. Hanna offers a wide range of both medical and cosmetic patient care. She has a special interest in early skin cancer detection, counseling on preventative care, acne, eczema, and adolescent dermatology. Hanna is a member of Pi Alpha, the national PA honor society, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Outside of dermatology, Hanna enjoys photography, reading for her book club, always looking for a new craft, hiking, traveling, spending time with her sisters and her fiance, and doting on her two children (i.e. her cats).

Vannessa Davis, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, is a dual, board-certified, doctorate-prepared nurse practitioner in family medicine and psychiatry. At Bethany Health Services in Salem, New Hampshire, Dr. Davis specializes in primary care, psychiatric care, and nephrology services for adults and children four and over.

Dr. Davis earned her master’s degree in family medicine from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association.

Beth Williams, FNP-C Over 20 years ago, Beth began her career in the medical field as a combat medic in the United States Army. She went on to become a nurse and served in various roles around the country and world. She served on medical missions and on air evac teams in support of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, but her roles in pediatrics have been among her favorites. She spent nearly a decade in pediatric med-surg, pediatric sedation and pediatric intensive care before she eventually went back to school and became a family nurse practitioner. She is especially passionate about functional medicine, health promotion education, disease prevention, and pediatric and women’s health. Outside of the office, Beth is all about time with her family and has a big heart for all things volunteering. You may see her on sidelines coaching a game or offering medical coverage, volunteering on a local ambulance or even at a local school board meeting where she serves as an elected official.

Laura earned her Masters of Science in Nursing Practice from George Mason University and specializes in Family Practice. Prior to her board certification she worked in dermatology and pediatrics, with a focus on health promotion for the underserved populations within the community. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Pace University and a Bachelor of Music from Syracuse University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, husband, two sons, dog and two cats. Laura is accepting new patients 7 years old and up.
