Dr. Ashraf Salem (Ash) is the Founder, President and Chief Medical Officer of BKUC. Our nurse practitioner Victoria graduated from Wagner College with her Bachelors in Nursing in 2012 and her Masters of Science degree with a concentration of Family Nurse Practitioner in 2021. Victoria worked as a nurse for ten years at Staten Island University Hospital on the telemetry and med surg units and she also worked at Edgar Nursing Home. Victoria joined our team in January 2022 and has since trained under Dr. Giovinazzo and has established herself as an essential part of our team.

Sherifa Julien-Johnson, PA, is a highly experienced, board-certified Physician Assistant at University Reproductive Associates, which has locations in Hasbrouck Heights, Hoboken, Wayne, Millburn, and Denville, New Jersey, and Goshen, New York. 

Sherifa specializes in reproductive endocrinology and is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The College of New Jersey and a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hall University, School of Health and Medical Sciences.

With 15 years of dedicated experience in women’s health, Sherifa has found her passion in guiding patients through the complex journey of fertility care and has been practicing in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility since 2011. She works closely with her patients, providing both initial and follow-up consultations and performing procedures such as saline sonograms, intrauterine inseminations (IUIs), endometrial biopsies, and ultrasounds.

Sherifa is deeply committed to supporting her patients through every step of their reproductive health journey, ensuring they feel informed, cared for, and empowered.

Casandra is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in family medicine. She has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2020. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing from SUNY EmpireState College and a master's degree from Mount Saint Mary College as a family nurse practitioner. Casandra has worked in critical care, emergency medicine, and surgerical services for over 30 years. During her time spent in the acute care setting, she developed a desire to help patients with their health before they fall ill. Casandra has a special interest in integrative health, anti-aging medicine, hormone replacement therapy, and weight loss with a focus on peptide therapy.

When she has free time, she likes to be in the kitchen cooking.
