The Center for Multisystem Disease in Denver specializes in disorders that affect multiple body systems. These diseases often cause such complex symptoms that patients spend years going from one doctor to the next, without ever obtaining an accurate diagnosis because their problem doesn’t fit neatly into a traditional medical specialty.
Jill Schofield, MD founded the Center for Multisystem Disease to provide comprehensive care to patients with conditions such as dysautonomia, mast cell activation syndrome, antiphospholipid syndrome, Sjögren’s syndrome, and celiac disease. Some of the patients suffering from these disorders also have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which causes additional struggles. She specializes in immune-mediated disorders that are confounding due to bodywide symptoms, devoting extra time to each patient so she can identify the issues causing their symptoms. She was the recipient of the 2019 Dysautonomia Support Network’s Game Changer Award for her work in the use of IVIG to treat patients with autoimmune forms of dysautonomia.
At the Center for Multisystem Disease, you’ll receive compassionate care that includes not just medication, but support for lifestyle changes that are important for many patients suffering from these disorders. This includes dietary counseling, help with stress reduction, and learning the best ways to exercise to maintain well-being without aggravating your condition.
If you’ve ever felt like no one understands your illness, or worse, if you’ve been told there’s nothing wrong with you or your symptoms are all in your head, you’re not alone. You’ll find a community that welcomes you at the Center for Multisystem Disease. You’ll meet other patients who suffer from the same condition and who understand your struggle.
Your symptoms will never be discounted at the Center for Multisystem Disease. Their goal is to define your underlying disorder or disorders and to provide customized treatment targeted to the root of the problem, rather than just “band-aid” treatments targeted to each symptom. If you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment, call the office or book an intake appointment online.
“Dr Schofield has helped me unravel a complex set of multisystem diseases. I’d be lost without her. She continues to advocate for me and try new treatments so I can improve my quality of life.”

I have lived in Colorado my whole life - first Highlands Ranch and then Castle Rock. I received my undergraduate degree in Biology from CSU in Fort Collins before returning to south Denver to complete medical school here at RVU. I am passionate about making patients feel heard and working together to help them meet their goals.
Outside of my career I spend my time with my wife Mikayla and our family and friends. You can find me rock climbing, mountain biking, or cross-country skiing. I also enjoy playing strategy board or video games, gardening, and woodworking in the garage.
I was born and raised in San Jose, California. For my undergraduate education, I attended Santa Clara University and majored in Bioengineering. I went on to attend Touro University Nevada for medical school. I chose Internal Medicine because I enjoy the critical thinking and problem-solving required. Working through complex cases feels a bit like being a detective, piecing together clues to arrive at the right diagnosis. I also appreciate the breadth of the field, and how it allows me to care for a wide variety of patients and conditions. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, going to concerts, trying new restaurants and breweries, and staying active, whether that’s going to the gym, hiking, or playing pickleball.
I’m from Big Spring, Texas. I played volleyball at ASU before going to medical school at Kansas City University Medical School in Joplin, MO.
I had never heard of Internal Medicine before my third-year rotations, but then fell in love, switched specialties that month, and I now plan to be a hospitalist.
I had only been to Denver a couple of times before coming here recently, and now I absolutely love it and hope to stay here. I moved here with my boyfriend Casey and our two dogs, Arlo and Pippy. We are looking forward to skiing, hiking, playing video games at home and enjoying all the types of the local sports that Denver offers. We are especially excited about football, as everyone in my family is a huge Broncos fan. I’m hoping that my two sisters and parents will visit frequently!
Dr. Jordan Walker is a board certified specialist in Internal Medicine. He started his career in biomedical engineering at the University of Utah hospital working on the advanced heart failure team. This team lead him to coauthoring the prestigious United States Bridge to Transplant Trial for the Jarvik 2000 heart pump. His work as an engineer guided him to pursue a career in medicine where he completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency in Colorado.
Outside of his medical work, Dr. Walker enjoys all sports and spending time with his wife and three sons. When not attending one of sons' games, he can be found working on his pickeball serve or at a driving range attempting to add yards to his golf game.
