Dr. Khanna earned her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology with minors in Spanish and Economics at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She attended the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health for medical school. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago and continued her medical training in vitreoretinal surgery, completing her fellowship at The Retina Institute in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Khanna's areas of expertise include diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, uveitis, and other retinal pathologies. In her free time, Dr. Khanna enjoys playing tennis/pickleball, eating at new restaurants, and traveling.
Manish Dhamija, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Advanced GI, LLC. He has greater than 10 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology and is dedicated to serving patients in the Lake View/Lincoln Park area of Chicago, Illinois as well as patients who hail from various other neighborhoods throughout the Chicagoland area.
After graduating from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH with a Bachelors of Science in Natural Sciences, Dr. Dhamija earned his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago followed by fellowship training in gastroenterology at University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. He also completed subspecialty fellowship training in Hepatology at University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago.
Post-fellowship, Dr. Dhamija worked in academics as a clinical assistant professor at a hospital associated with Midwestern University where he spent time teaching medical students and residents while training gastroenterology fellows.
Dr. Dhamija takes pride in providing comprehensive and thorough GI care to his patients. He aims to treat patients with respect and with open dialogue so that they feel they are an inherent part of their medical decision making and treatment plan. Dr. Dhamija is currently a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Shawn George, DO, is a skilled board certified internal medicine physician serving patients at Yorktown Health in Lombard, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. George then went on to receive his master’s degree in Biomedical Science from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Dr. George completed medical school at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and performed his internal medicine residency training at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois.
Dr. George is excited to serve his local community and anyone who is in need of primary care attention. He strives to provide compassionate, individualized primary and preventive care to help his patients live long, happy lives. Dr. George has experience treating many common medical concerns like diabetes, high blood pressure, and hyperlipidemia.
