Taufik Kassis, MD, brings more than 25 years of experience to his role at Stanton Family Clinic. A board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Kassis has a passion for personalized care and strives to make meaningful improvements in the lives of the Stanton, Kentucky, residents who entrust him with their health needs.
Education is of central importance to Dr. Kassis. He completed his medical degree at Damascus University in Syria. Since arriving in America, he’s sought out numerous opportunities to expand his knowledge and skills through ongoing education.
Dr. Kassis provides the full scope of internal medicine services, including preventive care. When issues arise, his patients seek him out for relief through acute care or sick visits. Those with one or more types of chronic disease rely on Dr. Kassis for customized chronic disease management.
Addiction medicine is also an area of specialty for Dr. Kassis. He takes great pride in working with patients to support and guide them as they navigate their path away from addiction.
Never before have there been so many wonderful tools to assist in the diagnostic and treatment process. Dr. Kassis works hard to remain on the cutting edge of advancements in medical technology and to select the tools and techniques that offer the best benefits for his patients.
When not working directly with patients, Dr. Kassis can be found enjoying time with his family and friends. He is currently accepting new patients and loves welcoming new members into the Stanton Family Clinic family.
