Doug grew up in Western Colorado, riding motorcycles, mountain bikes, climbing and exploring the desert. He graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a degree in Biology. He then spent time in Alaska working as an environmental chemist and petroleum researcher while actively participating in the rugby community. Paragliding brought him to Cashmere, to pursue his passion and run Airplay, one of the largest paragliding schools in the country. For 14 years, Doug taught hundreds of students to fly, hosted the US Paragliding World Cup and served as the safety director for the US hanggliding and paragliding association. In 2016, he traded in his wing for a stethoscope, attending the University of Washington, MEDEX. Doug specializes in optimizing men's hormones and lives and works hard to connect personally and treat each person where they are at and get them to where they want to be.

My journey to mental healthcare
I chose this field because I have always been drawn to helping people through the most difficult parts of their lives. I have seen how deeply mental health challenges affect the mind, body, relationships, and sense of direction. Being able to help someone feel more grounded, more hopeful, and more themselves again is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
My first session with you
Our first session is simple, comfortable, and focused on what matters most to you. We talk about what you are feeling, what has been hard, and what you want your life to look like. If needed, we complete an evaluation or screening. You leave with a clear plan, a sense of direction, and the comfort of knowing you are not doing this alone.
