Dr. Azin Azma is a board certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist. Dr. Azma has been providing exceptional care to the Las Vegas community for almost a decade. She has been recognized by her patients and peers as a top physician numerous times.
Dr. Azma graduated with honors and summa cum laude with a degree in Economics and pre-medicine from the University of Kansas in 2004. She went on to attend the University of Kansas School of Medicine, graduating in 2008 with her medical degree. Dr. Azma completed her Neurology residency and Clinical Neurology fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, working with many of the top neurologists during her training.

Dr. Duncan Gilmour is a Board-Certified Neurologist who works at Las Vegas Neurology Center and primarily sees patients at Henderson Hospital. He manages patients with a wide array of neurologic illnesses including stroke, seizure, headache, multiple sclerosis, dementia, as well as movement, neuromuscular and cognitive disorders. Henderson Hospital is a Primary Stroke Center and Dr. Gilmour manages acute stroke and other neurocritical care patients.
Dr. Gilmour wanted to serve at a young age, enlisting into the military in 1999. He graduated high school early to enlist in the U.S. Navy and worked on an Aircraft Carrier as a Nuclear Power Plant Operator and was deployed during the Afghanistan and Iraq conflict. He served in the military for eight years and while he was stationed in New York he was able to take college classes at night from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and graduated with a dual major in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics.
In 2007, Dr. Gilmour was honorably discharged from the Navy and worked at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station in Arizona as a Nuclear Engineer/Operator. He enjoyed his job but felt a calling to do more and made the decision to change careers and get involved in health care.
He completed Medical School at got his medical degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Gilmour completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Neurology Residency at Loma Linda University in California and served as Chief Neurology Resident in his final year of training.
Dr. Gilmour is a Board-Certified Neurologist and licensed to practice medicine in both California and Nevada. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Gilmour enjoys spending time with his family as well as outdoor activities including hiking and mountain biking.
Dr. Conners was born and raised in Southern California but lived in the Las Vegas area for eight years during medical school and residency. Prior to medical school she worked at an elementary school as a teacher’s assistant, and also worked as an MCAT inorganic chemistry teacher and tutor.
She attended Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, NV, where she graduated in the top quartile of her class. She was an active member of many clubs and volunteered with several organizations. Afterwards, she completed her four-year neurology residency at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas and served as chief resident her last year. During residency, she first-authored three papers and is a co-author on another. She also served on the hospital’s ethics committee.
After graduating from residency, she completed a fellowship in epilepsy at the University of Southern California, where she specialized in the management of medically-refractory epilepsy. She gained significant experience in managing an epilepsy monitoring unit as well as determining surgical options to treat epilepsy in those who continue to have seizures despite taking seizure medications. She presented cases to approximately two dozen physicians (epileptologists, neuroradiologists, and neurosurgeons) at Keck multidisciplinary epilepsy surgical conferences several times per month during fellowship, and hopes to continue participating in those conferences after fellowship.
After fellowship, she returned to the Las Vegas area because she enjoyed working with the wonderful neurologists at Las Vegas Neurology Center and had enjoyed her time in Las Vegas in the past. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, running, and gardening. She is currently preforming research on the compliance rates of epilepsy safety precautions in hopes to guide physicians on how to better counsel their patients on these important recommendations. She has special interests in the safety and improving the quality of lives of those who live with epilepsy.
I am a Board Certified Neurologist, with training from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Yale University, and Loma Linda University, including specialized fellowship training in Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders. Dr. Zaugg is the son of a former FBI agent and as such spent his youth living in multiple states and countries. He founded a love of outdoor sports including scuba diving, snowboarding, and raced motocross for several years. Dr. Zaugg performed stunts for numerous television shows. After suffering a few concussions, Dr. Zaugg developed a fascination for the brain and mind. He studied psychology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. There, Dr. Zaugg worked as a teaching assistant in psychology before graduating on the Dean’s List.
Dr. Zaugg then moved to Las Vegas in 2012 to study medicine at Touro University Nevada. He worked again as a teaching assistant to his junior medical students and graduated in 2016 in the top quartile of his class.
After completing his medical degree, Dr. Zaugg devoted his love of the brain and the city of Las Vegas to train and specialize in Neurology at Valley Hospital Medical Center. During this time Dr. Zaugg was engaged in research and contributing to national board review databases and served as Chief resident.
Dr. Zaugg currently practices as a neurohospitalist and Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultant to the NFL. When he isn’t working, Dr. Zaugg enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering in his community, and tapping into his love of motorsports and the outdoors.
Dr. Vickers is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained neuro-ophthalmologist who moved to Las Vegas from California in 2012. Dr. Vickers was originally born and raised in the south of France and moved to Southern California in 2000. There, she completed high school and later graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. During her undergraduate years, she fulfilled her passion for teaching by tutoring her peers in French and Mathematics.
Following her undergraduate years, Dr. Vickers attended medical school at Touro University in Northern California. As a medical student, Dr. Vickers participated in numerous volunteer activities. She was the president of ACOFP and went on to win the ACOFP Humanitarian Award as well as the ACOFP Leadership Award in 2011. She also continued her passion for teaching by tutoring medical students in Neurology.
After obtaining her medical degree, Dr. Vickers completed her Neurology residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, where she served as Chief resident. During her residency training, Dr. Vickers received several awards including Outstanding Resident of the Year, Above and Beyond Peer-to-Peer Recognition, and Commitment to Service Excellence. During this time, she also designed and authored a clinical pocketbook for her colleagues: “A Neurology Survival Guide for Medical Students, Internal Medicine, and Neurology Residents”.
Upon finishing her Neurology residency, Dr. Vickers went on to complete a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at Houston Methodist Hospital under the mentorship of Neuro-Ophthalmology guru, Dr. Andrew G. Lee. During her fellowship, she helped advance the field of Neuro-ophthalmology through numerous publications including case reports, book chapters, and EyeWiki articles. She was recognized for her editorial achievements by the EyeWiki editors for “editing or adding 10 or more articles” for the year 2017-2018.
Following her fellowship, Dr. Vickers returned to Las Vegas to serve the community she has grown to love, joining the Las Vegas Neurology Center in 2018. She serves as faculty and attending physician for the Neurology residency program at Valley Hospital Medical Center. She is an instructor of Neurology for Touro University Nevada, College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is also the Assistant Director for the Neurology question bank for TrueLearn, a smartbank for medical exam preparation. Additionally, she continues her role as Editorial Board Consultant for EyeWiki.
Dr. Vickers is a member of several professional societies including the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Neurology, and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society where she serves on the Patient Information Committee.
