Eva Pickler, MD, FACOG, joined Capital Women’s Care (Division 33) in Frederick in May 2024. A native of North Carolina, Dr. Pickler received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University. She also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After a career in the corporate world, Dr. Pickler went on to earn her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1998 and completed her residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee in 2002. She remained in Johnson City for fourteen years in private practice before relocating to northern Virginia. She has been an obstetric hospitalist at Frederick Health Hospital since 2017.

Dr. Pickler is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Schipper completed both his internship and residency at South Baltimore General Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

During his medical training, Dr. Schipper studied the fields of obstetrics and gynecology in detail. His areas of interest include vaginal surgery, operative laparoscopy, female incontinence, and pelvic floor disorders.
