Jessica Brown, MD, is a board eligible OB/GYN in the Arlington and Grand Prairie communities of Texas, where she treats patients at Women’s Health Services. With more than six years of professional experience, Dr. Brown is an honest and friendly physician with a passion for obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, family planning, in office procedures and minimally invasive surgery.
A lifelong Texan, Dr. Brown was born and raised in Houston. After attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Dr. Brown received a BA in sociology in 2009, graduating as an honors scholar with a distinction in research. In 2013, she earned her medical degree from the University of Texas at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
Dr. Brown stayed at the University of Texas at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas to complete her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Brown is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association.
Her primary goal as a physician is to make her patients feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible in her care while educating women and helping them take control of their own health. She is an accomplished physician with excellent surgical skills.
Outside of the office, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with family and friends. She and her husband, Paul, have one son, with whom they love spending time.

Sheri Puffer, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN with more than 11 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. A warm, friendly physician who truly enjoys spending time with her patients, Dr. Puffer launched her career in private practice with Women’s Health Services in Arlington and Grand Prairie, Texas, to better connect with and treat her patients to the highest quality care possible.
A Canadian native, Dr. Puffer moved from Toronto to Texas in 1992. She later attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied biology. After graduation, she enrolled in medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Puffer grew to love women’s health care during her time in medical school, so it came as no surprise when she relocated to Dallas to complete her OB/GYN residency at Baylor University Medical Center after earning her medical doctorate.
As a supremely skilled physician and gynecological surgeon, Dr. Puffer treats and manages a broad range of women’s health conditions, including normal and high-risk pregnancies, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, uterine descensus, birth control, menstrual pain, and menopause. At her office, Dr. Puffer ensures that patients are provided with the most innovative treatments and therapies available, such as colposcopy, Novasure® Uterine Ablation, loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP), and hysteroscopy procedures.
In addition to her clinical passions, Dr. Puffer is an active member of the AMA, Texas Medical Association, and a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She and her husband, Ashton, have three wonderful children — two sons and one daughter. When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Puffer is a master baker at home.
Theresa Conyac, MD, FACOG, is an obstetrician and gynecologist, and the founder of Glow Obstetrics & Gynecology in Rockwall, Texas. Dr. Conyac is devoted to ensuring the appropriate care for women and offers comprehensive solutions in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment.
Dr. Conyac started as a volunteer candy striper at a Chicago hospital when she was just 13 years old, working in the postpartum unit. She completed medical training at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, with a special interest in the historical marks of internal medicine.
She completed her OB/GYN residency at AMITA Health Saint Francis Hospital in Chicago, where her outstanding work earned her the first Certificate of Obstetric Excellence by the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. During her residency, Dr. Conyac also earned the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and was first to incorporate da Vinci® robotics into the resident training program.
In addition to her patient-centered care at Glow Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Conyac serves as the director of women’s services at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Lake Pointe in Rowlett, Texas, and the OB/GYN hospitalist and emergency service team lead.
Dr. Conyac enjoys spending her free time with her rescue dogs, reading a good book, trying unique foods, riding horses, gardening, and painting.
Marc A. Wilson, M.D., FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN specializing in high-risk pregnancies, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, disease prevention, and robotic surgery.
Dr. Wilson has worked in private practice for more than 20 years and currently serves women in the Denton, TX area at OB/GYN Specialists.
A Little Rock, Arkansas native, Dr. Wilson knew he wanted to be an OB/GYN physician at an early age when he had the chance to shadow an OB/GYN physician and witness the miracle of birth during a career day field trip.
Once he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, Dr. Wilson received the prestigious Ungerman Four-Year Full Scholarship at the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine, where he thrived academically. Dr. Wilson even went on to become the first African American medical student to be accepted into the OB/GYN Residency Program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
After more than two decades in the medical field, Dr. Wilson has come to find that the doctor/patient relationship works best when each patient is treated like a beloved family member.
That dedication to compassionate and individualized care has earned him several community achievements, including being voted Best Ob/Gyn Physician in Denton County.

Malathi Ellis, MD, FACOG, is a highly-trained OB/GYN and co-founder of Nurture Women's Health and Stella Spa at Nurture Women’s Health, an all-female physician practice in Frisco, Texas. She genuinely cares about the health of her patients, providing them with the highest quality of service.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Dr. Ellis began her journey toward becoming an OB/GYN at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
She found her passion for women’s health at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where she received her medical degree. She went on to complete her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
In 2005, Dr. Ellis moved to Texas and began a private practice, serving the community of Dallas and its surrounding areas. After many years, she decided to join forces with female physicians to create Nurture Women’s Health.
Dr. Ellis specializes in female urinary problems, PCOS, high-risk pregnancy, hysterectomy, infertility, and natural childbirth. She’s also skilled in vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, vaginal rejuvenation, operative vaginal delivery, and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).
Patients in the Frisco and surrounding areas have come to know and trust Dr. Ellis with their obstetrics and gynecology needs.
In her free time, she enjoys being a wife and mother to her three children. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time being with her family, cooking, gardening, and reading science fiction and comic books.

Carrie Patterson, MD, FACOG, is a dedicated, board-certified OB/GYN and co-founder of the all-female physician practice, Nurture Women's Health and Stella Spa at Nurture Women’s Health in Frisco, Texas.
Dr. Patterson received her bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where she was a Trustee Scholar and graduated magna cum laude. She went on to complete her master’s degree in physiology and biophysics at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She stayed there to receive her medical degree, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, graduating in the top 10% of her class.
She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, in Orange, California, where she received the Louis H. Smith, MD, Humanitarian Award in 2008.
Dr. Patterson is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She holds hospital privileges at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Centennial in Texas.
Dr. Patterson consistently uses her efforts to advance obstetric and gynecologic health care by offering women thorough, compassionate, and evidence-based medical guidance.
Her goal is to establish a long-term connection with each one of her patients. She provides expert, individualized care during every stage of a woman’s life, from adolescence to pregnancy and beyond.
In her free time, she and her husband stay busy keeping up with their twin daughters and two border collies. She also enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, watching sports, and cheering on her beloved USC Trojans.

Dr. Chesshir is a Texas girl born and raised. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Texas Tech University. She then pursued a master’s degree in International Management. After working in the business sector for some time, she realized she wanted to make a childhood dream come true and obtained her Medical Doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. She furthered her passion for women’s healthcare by completing her specialty training in obstetrics & gynecology at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In 2019, after many years in private practice, Dr. Chesshir pivoted her focus to OBGYN hospitalist medicine, however, she missed getting to know patients in an office-based setting & therefore returned to office practice.
She sees gynecology patients of all ages; but has a special interest in menopausal medicine. She is a member of the Menopause Society; formerly known as the North American Menopause Society (NAMS).
In her free time, she enjoys taking care of her cats and spending time with family. When she is not working, she also does some volunteer work. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, and knitting.
Lenora Vaughan, DO, FACOG, is an experienced OB/GYN and has been a Texas resident since moving from the Philippines at the age of five. She is thrilled to join an all-female physician group at Nurture Women's Health in Frisco, Texas. Dr. Vaughan is passionate about the practice of evidence-based medicine.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, she went on to complete her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. After residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Vaughan returned to Texas and practiced in Austin.
Dr. Vaughan also has extensive experience with OB/GYN hospitalist medicine and was the director of the program in Colorado for three years. After twelve years of working solely in the hospital setting, Dr. Vaughan is excited to return to office-based practice and will have privileges at Baylor Scott & White - Centennial.
In her free time, she and her husband enjoy traveling, hiking all over the world, skiing, and spending time with their beloved French Bulldogs.

OB/GYN April Riley, DO, is proud to offer women throughout Frisco, Texas, and the surrounding area high-quality women's health services. At Nurture Women's Health, Dr. Riley partners with her patients to provide support throughout every stage of their lives.
Dr. Riley completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin and then received an additional Master of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. She then went on to complete her medical doctorate at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. Dr. Riley pursued her residency training in OB/GYN at Texas Tech University Health Science Center at the Permian Basin, where she served as co-Chief Resident in her final year.
Recognized for her dedication to her field, Dr. Riley was awarded the Dean's Teaching Resident Award and the AAGL Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award. She also served as the ACOG District XI Residency Program Representative, which allowed her to advocate for women's health legislation at the Texas Capitol.
Dr. Riley is excited to be back near her hometown of Plano, TX, after practicing in Fort Worth for several years. Away from her practice, she enjoys spending time outside, cooking, sewing, and spending time with her husband and son.

Holly Cheung, DO, is an experienced obstetrician and gynecologist with the team at Nurture Women’s Health in Frisco, Texas.
Dr. Cheung is a North Texas local and grew up in nearby Keller, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Dallas, where she received her Bachelor of Science in both biology and neuroscience. She then earned her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. During medical school, she was elected into the Sigma Sigma Phi honor society for academic and service achievements. Dr. Cheung then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California.
Dr. Cheung decided to pursue a career in medicine out of her desire to serve others. Her most gratifying moments are when she can make a difference in the lives and families of her patients. Her special interests include managing high-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and treatment of acne.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Cheung enjoys gardening, running, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and her Swiss Shepherd, Ezra.

Dr. Angela Stoehr is chronic pelvic and sexual pain and sexual dysfunction specialist who works out of Nurture Women’s Health in Frisco, Texas. An experienced practitioner who offers some of the best OB/GYN care available in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Dr. Stoehr obtained her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Stoehr is a member of The International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), and the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS). She also serves on the IPPS Patient Education Committee, and on the speaker’s bureaus for Pacira Biosciences and Sprout Pharmaceuticals.
Always eager to contribute to the greater good in the public health sector, Dr. Stoehr has participated in medical missions around the globe to different countries, including the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Ghana. Her experiences practicing medicine abroad, as well her fluency in Spanish, allow her to cater to a diverse clientele in the Frisco area. One of the central tenets of Dr. Stoehr’s lifework is reaching out, working with, and caring for patients who cover a broad spectrum. Spanish-speaking women and others from diverse backgrounds feel comfortable under her care.
Outside the walls of her practice, she and her husband are busy, dedicated parents to their two wonderful children.

Dr. Brenda Axmann graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School after receiving her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. Upon completion of her medical degree Dr. Axmann chose to pursue women’s healthcare and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Methodist Hospital of Dallas and Parkland Hospital. Dr. Axmann feels privileged to care for the gynecologic needs of her patients and has had the opportunity to establish long-term care relationships with many of her established patients. She is married to Dr. David Axmann and they have 3 children. Dr. Axmann believes in the importance of a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise and encourages her patients to find a balance which will allow them to establish positive relationships and achieve both personal and career goals. Dr. Brenda Axmann enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with her dogs. She attends BSF weekly and supports Family Legacy Mission International along with organizations that support women who have been subject to domestic violence and abuse.
Michelle Grundstrom, MD is an ObGyn at Contemporary Women's Care in Plano, Texas.
Dr. Grundstrom grew up in the Plano area and left to complete her undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin, where she developed a love for medicine and women's health. She completed medical school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, and after receiving her degree she completed her ObGyn residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in the Permian Basin. She is excited to be back in her hometown doing what she loves!
