Dr. Ted Fogwell, MD

Ted Fogwell, MD, is one of Dallas’ most decorated doctors, having been recognized as among the city’s best OB/GYNs by D Magazine over 13 times. His commitment to providing patients with a warm, friendly environment stems from his patient-first mindset, believing that honesty and trust between patient and physician are the keys to successful treatment.

After graduating cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Fogwell earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he is now an associate professor of OB/GYN. He also makes yearly trips to Guatemala and Romania where he provides medical training to physicians and medical care for the countries’ citizens.

Dr. Fogwell is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and performed his residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He is currently affiliated with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas (the Margot Perot Center for Women and Infants) and the Texas Health Women's Specialty Surgery Center. He’s an expert in minimally invasive and robotic surgeries, especially transabdominal cerclage (TAC).

Dr. Fogwell lives in Dallas with his wife. He has two daughters and four grandchildren.
