Dr. Tajzoy and his staff are by far the best medical providers I have ever experienced. Starting in the front office with Tabbatha and Megan, they were always polite, listened to concerns and did their best to accommodate any scheShow moreduling needs I had during my pregnancy. Tabbatha is a pro at billing and making sure you know how much to expect to pay. There were no surprise charges in regards to my delivery and OB care. That goes a long way for peace of mind. The nurse, Patrice is so kind and caring. She responded to my messages and always listened to my concerns. She never made me feel like anything was an over reaction and always remembered things I’d told her in prior appointments (even about my other daughter). Finally, Dr. Tajzoy is the epitome of what a doctor should be. He is one of the most thorough and kind medical professionals I have ever met, across many specialty. His diligence helps me get to full term during this pregnancy. I had a traumatic birth with my last OB/pregnancy and had some anxiety. Dr. Tajzoy always heard my concerns and followed through with a check. There was never one instance where I felt I was being too anxious or overreacting. That is almost impossible to find as a patient. He is knowledgeable on the most up to date care and recommendations. The hospital itself is a teaching hospital. He has a student with him (they ask if it’s ok first) and I am so glad that there are future medical professionals learning from him. His office is the gold standard in patient care. If we had more doctors like Dr. Tajzoy, the medical field would be a far better place. I cannot thank them all enough for getting me through a difficult pregnancy and helping to ensure my daughter was delivered safely. I am forever grateful for the care I received at this practice. If you’re contemplating who to see during your pregnancy journey (or GYN needs) I assure you that you don’t need to look any further than Dr. Tajzoy.
Every time I tried to write this review, I left it on draft because I couldn't figure out how to justly sum up the awesomeness that is Dr. Tajzoy in a few lines! But, I want to get something out, so here I try! I randomly landed oShow moren Dr. Emil on zocdoc. I was a bit apprehensive. Could all the great reviews be legit? Gosh, was I delightfully surprised. I could never have dreamt up a better OBGYN. He is extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled, thoughtful, caring, patient, and the list goes on. As a black woman who had suffered the consequences of my previous OBGYN's negligence, it was important to me to find a doctor who would actually hear my cry! Mine was not the typical textbook case, and this man listened! He cared, he did his utmost best, and God used him to save me. My surgery was a success, and I have a new lease on life! Forever grateful to Dr. Emil and his staff!
Born at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas himself, Emil Tajzoy, MD, seemed fated to become part of the hospital’s expert surgical staff. While gaining his Bachelor of Science at Southern Methodist University he assisted in neurological research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he would later discover his calling in obstetrics and gynecology.
During his OB/GYN residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dr. Tajzoy was recognized for his remarkable patient care and unflagging dedication to teaching medical students, earning membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then pursued a gynecological surgery fellowship at Texas Health Presbyterian, where he impressed some of the most renowned surgeons in north Texas with his abilities in minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. Tajzoy is particularly adept in performing robotic-assisted abdominal cerclage surgery, an operation to reduce the risk of early pregnancy loss.
Dr. Tajzoy has committed himself to providing compassionate, personalized, evidence-based care to his patients. This includes not only minimally invasive surgery, but routine and high-risk obstetric care, contraceptive management, preventive health, and menopause. He prides himself in building trusting, lifelong relationships with his patients.
Not only a renowned surgeon, but a committed educator as well, Dr. Tajzoy teaches the next generation of doctors by serving as the editor and host of OB/GYN lectures for Doctors in Training, a prestigious medical board review course. He instructs the Dad Basic Training class at Texas Health Presbyterian as well. He also travels to Guatemala for surgical mission trips where he performs gynecologic surgeries for the underserved.
Outside of work, Dr. Tajzoy enjoys playing tennis, attending the theater, watching movies, and traveling the world with his amazing wife Catherine, a skilled ICU nurse at Baylor University Medical Center.

Dr. Tajzoy is absolutely amazing. I normally go in for my annual exam with no issues. I had some questions this last appointment and he took the time to answer all questions, educate about medical condition, and thoroughly explain treatment plan and options. He gave suggestions but was never pushy and allowed me as the patient to make an informed decision based on all the information he discussed with me. Absolutely amazing bedside manner, and would definitely recommend to anyone needing a dedicated provider.

Dr. Tajzoy is absolutely in the top of his field. His skill is without question and he has the greatest bed side manner. He has a calming and reassuring presence. This is now my second pregnancy under his care, both of which have been complicated and high risk. I wholeheartedly trust him with my life and that of my unborn child and that in itself works mountains. I couldn't ask for a better doctor. His entire staff is kind and welcoming. The office staff is wonderful and Dr. Tajzoy and his team were very welcoming and understanding during my visit. Throughout my visit, I did not feel I was being rushed along, but Dr. Tajzoy took the time to give a thorough examination and asked me multiple questions to better understand my history, and the issue I was having. He also displayed patience and a willingness to address my concerns and his nurse Patricia was also very supportive and accommodating. Overall, I had a good experience and plan to return to this office again.
