Andrew Florin, MD, MS, is a physician practicing at Women's Care of Beverly Hills, an obstetrics and gynecology practice in Beverly Hills, California. Dr. Florin earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2011. He then went on to complete a Master of Science in Global Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, in 2013, which resulted in a few years of global health curriculum development and partnerships established across multiple countries, including Taiwan, Panama, ltaly, and lndia.
He completed his Doctor of Medicine from the University of lllinois College of Medicine in 2O2O, as part of the Global Medicine Track, and was honored with the title "Fellow for Life" for his community work as part of The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, while also being inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society during that time. Lastly, he completed his internship, residency, and chief residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. While training at Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Florin explored a diverse range of professional interests, conducting research in and presenting on topics including surgical device utilization, particularly for postpartum hemorrhage, and unique approaches to surgical skills training within graduate medical education.
Dr. Florin maintains expertise in Obstetrics as well as both Open and Minimally lnvasive Gynecologic Surgery, and while at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was highly regarded for his empathetic approach to medicine, earning numerous Standing Ovation awards as a resident, and earning a proud place in the Circle of Friends.
Dr. Florin, In his free time, is also a professional automotive photographer and enthusiast, and hosts a local car show in Santa Monica.
