David Afram, MD, FACOG, is an experienced OB/GYN at Captial Women’s Care in Fairfax, Manassas, and Haymarket, Virginia. With 20 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Afram has helped countless women and continues to provide quality, personalized care.
Dr. Afram is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has been board certified in obstetrics and gynecology since 2009. He is also a fellow of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Surgeons.
Dr. Afram’s medical journey began when he attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where Dr. Afram obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in biology. Upon completion of his medical degree, Dr. Afram moved on to George Washington University Hospital, where he finished his medical residency training and where he also received the teaching award for Council on Residents Education in obstetrics and gynecology.
A former assistant clinical professor at the West Virginia School of Medicine, Dr. Afram has various medical areas of interest, which comprise of high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries.
In Dr. Afram’s spare time, he takes pleasure in spending time with his family and playing tennis and soccer. He also enjoys reading and has a special interest in history and international affairs. He is fluent in multiple languages including English, Arabic, and French.

- Dr. Adebusola Awosanya is a Nigerian-American Obstetrician and Gynecologist who grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland. She earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and went on to complete her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine. She later completed her residency training at Howard University Hospital, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
She is particularly passionate about advancing women’s health in underserved communities. Dr. Awosanya provides compassionate, patient-centered care and believes in empowering women to make informed decisions about their health. Her clinical interests include general obstetrics, contraception counseling, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and the management of fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, and other common gynecologic conditions.

Board-certified OB/GYN Roy Khoury, MD, FACOG has extensive training in overall women’s health and modern gynecological surgery. He’s currently accepting new patients at Capital Women’s Care.
Dr. Khoury completed both his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Philadelphia. He went through his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.
To further his expertise, Dr. Khoury then completed advanced training in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques through the Johnson & Johnson Institute/Ethicon Endosurgery (EES) fellowship program. He’s also a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Khoury continues to be involved in medical teaching and education. Throughout his career, Dr. Khoury has received numerous awards and was even recognized as the Best Teaching Educator at Holy Cross Hospital. He currently serves as an assistant clinical professor at The George Washington University and president of the medical executive committee at the Maryland Surgery Center for Women.

About Dr. Young
As a leader in modern women’s health solutions and a highly regarded gynecologic surgeon, Carolynn Young, MD, is a trusted physician for women of all ages. Dr. Young treats patients at Rockville Gynecology in Rockville, Maryland.
After completing her undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude, from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Dr. Young was accepted into medical school. She earned her doctor of medicine from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Young then completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency through Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. She’s currently board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists.
Throughout her career, Dr. Young has gained extensive experience in pelvic floor surgery and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Young regularly speaks at conferences and teaches her peers about modern surgical procedures and women’s health topics. She has special interests in uterine fibroids, abnormal bleeding, contraception, adolescent gynecology, and abnormal Pap smears.
Dr. Young was even the first physician to perform robotic surgery using the da Vinci® system at the Johns Hopkins Medicine Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2009. She continues to utilize the da Vinci system to perform hysterectomy, myomectomy, resection of endometriosis, and removal of ovarian cyst procedures.
Outside of Rockville Gynecology, Dr. Young serves as the co-director of the Robotic Surgery Steering Committee at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville. Because of her expertise and dedication to patient care, Dr. Young was recognized as the Top Doctor in the Washingtonian magazine every year since 2015.

Meghan Lainoff, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Charles County Dermatology Associates in 2024. She is licensed to practice in both Maryland and Virginia. Meghan's journey into Dermatology began over a decade ago when she worked as a Medical Assistant while earning her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from George Mason University.
In 2018, Meghan completed her master's in physician assistant studies at Radford University Carilion in Roanoke, Virginia and has since gained valuable clinical and procedural experience working in interventional Pulmonology and Neurosurgery.
