A New Era of Holistic Hormone Health for Women
I’m Dr. Shamsah Amersi, a board-certified OB/GYN who has spent more than two decades caring for thousands of women through every stage of life. Over these years, I’ve seen far too many women dismissed, misdiagnosed, or handed generic solutions that never touch the root of their symptoms. I founded my practice to change that—because women deserve care that is deeply personal, science-based, and truly transformative.
My Philosophy of Care
True healing begins with listening. Every woman’s body tells a unique story, and my role is to uncover the underlying drivers of imbalance—not simply mask them. By blending the precision of Western medicine with the insights of functional, root-cause-driven strategies, I help women restore balance across their hormonal, metabolic, emotional, and neurological systems.
This is not “alternative medicine.” This is comprehensive medicine—anchored in science, advanced diagnostics, and personalization.
A Holistic, Evidence-Based Toolkit
My integrative approach combines the best of modern medicine with lifestyle and functional strategies:
Lifestyle Optimization: Nutrition, exercise, and stress reduction are foundational. As a pregnancy consultant for Headspace, I’ve seen how mindfulness and emotional well-being directly impact hormonal equilibrium.
Targeted Supplementation: Pharmaceutical-grade supplements, adaptogens, vitamins, and minerals prescribed based on your biology and biomarker testing.
Bioidentical Hormone Therapy (BHRT): When necessary, I use plant-derived hormones that are structurally identical to those produced by the human body—allowing for more natural and effective hormone replacement.
Why Personalization Matters
Hormone health is never one-size-fits-all. PCOS, thyroid disorders, perimenopause, menopause, endometriosis—these conditions manifest differently in every woman. That’s why my care begins with thorough listening, advanced biomarker testing, and individualized treatment plans that meet your specific biology and goals.
The Benefits of a Comprehensive Approach
By treating the root cause rather than silencing symptoms, women often experience:
Restored energy, metabolism, and weight balance
Improved insulin sensitivity and thyroid function
Greater resilience to stress and adrenal health
Enhanced fertility and ovarian function
Sharper focus, mental clarity, and stable mood
Stronger bones, healthier skin, and increased muscle strength
Protection for long-term vitality, longevity, and health span
This is about feeling better today while also protecting your health for the decades ahead.
My Promise to Women
You do not have to accept fatigue, mood swings, weight changes, or brain fog as “just part of being a woman.” You deserve care that is deeply personal, backed by data, and tailored to your unique physiology.
When your body’s systems are supported in harmony, everything improves—your energy, mood, resilience, and long-term health. My mission is simple: to empower women to feel informed, connected to their bodies, and able to thrive at every stage of life.
Mission Statement
My mission is to transform the way women experience hormone health by providing care that is personalized, science-based, and deeply compassionate. I am committed to addressing the root causes of imbalance—hormonal, metabolic, emotional, and neurological—rather than masking symptoms with temporary solutions.
By blending the precision of advanced diagnostics with lifestyle medicine, targeted supplementation, and bioidentical hormone therapy, I help women not only feel better today but also protect their health span—the years of life lived in strength, clarity, and vitality.
I believe every woman deserves to thrive at every stage of life, empowered with knowledge, supported with the right tools, and cared for with both medical expertise and humanity.
“Dr. Amersi turned my life around in the last year. She diagnosed my adrenal fatigue, got me on HRT, created a check list of items that I could do to improve my health, offered additional resources and referrals for me upon request - but, above all, took the time to connect with me and really listen to me. I’m very grateful for her guidance and support.”
