Once Dr. Navi began to exam and meet and do the appropriate tests, it was very very quick.8-10 minutes. However, I arrived at 11:33 for an 1145 appointment. I was not taken back to prep for the exam until 12:28 PM. The assistanceShow more, took my blood pressure, which was fairly high. They allowed me to sit for a few minutes and took it 2 more times. It did lower, but not within the normal ranges out 10 minutes. I sat in the room with my clothes on for a proximately, 20 minutes. I asked if I should get undressed, the assistant said ,”not yet.“” She came back into the room about 20 minutes later. She told me now I could get undressed in for the doctor. It was very very cold in the room that I was waiting for Dr. Navi. He came in about 15 to 20 minutes later. His exam and procedures took about 8-10 minutes. My husband was in the waiting room for this entire time. He was wondering what took so long for a quick exam, and so was I ? As you a see, TIME spent was: 2 hours and 28 minutes, for an 8 to 10 minute exam. It would have been expeditious and beneficial to both parties, knowing that the doctor was overcommitted; to call me and schedule a different date! Does this happen often? I have only seen Dr. Nabi twice, and he has been excessively late both times! What do you and Dr. Navi suggest for the future? Should I be the very first person to be seen? Dr. Navizadeh is the founder and medical director of Valencia Center for Women’s Health. He received his undergraduate degree in genetics and molecular biology at the University of California. Dr. Navizadeh completed a comprehensive research fellowship in molecular and cell biology at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). He further expanded his research experience at the University of Southern California’s School of Medicine, where he obtained his medical degree.
At the USC School of Medicine, Dr. Navizadeh had the chance to work on innovative research projects in the fields of obstetrics, gynecology, endocrinology, infertility, and ultrasound imaging. He investigated the effects of seizure disorders and the treatment programs in pregnancy. Dr. Navizadeh was awarded the Pacific Coast Fertility Society’s award in Estrogen research.
Dr. Navizadeh completed an internship in Obstetrics at the Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He continued his residency at Mount Sinai-Maimonides Medical Center in New York. In obstetrics, his group’s work in ultrasonography to predicate preterm labor was published and received several awards. In the area of infertility and endocrinology, Dr. Navizadeh's works contributed to the understanding of the effects of an embryo’s size and quality in the process of in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Dr. Navizadeh completed the prestigious Galloway fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. There, he had the opportunity to advance his surgical skills in complex gynecological operations in addition to learning the latest laparoscopic and endoscope techniques.
Dr. Navizadeh has also expanded his interest to urogynecology and pelvic surgery. In southern California, he pioneered the use of the new Transopturator Sling procedure for treating female urinary incontinence.
Valencia Center for Women’s Health and Dr. Navizadeh welcome all new patients to the practice and can work with most forms of medical insurance.

Dr. Navi has been my OBGYN for about 20 years. He is kind, listens and cares about his patients. Additionally, his staff has always been kind as well.

Dr Navi is fabulous. He takes time and always remembers my daughter’s name who he delivered 14 years ago. He truly cares about his patients and is an incredible doctor. During my daughter’s birth, Dr Navi was absolutely amazing.

Dr.Navi has been an amazing OBGYN to me. He delivered my baby and helped me through my missed miscarriage, has been nothing but kind and professional. Even though he is so busy, he would answer all the questions I had and take time to explain all the procedures and conditions. I feel that no matter what comes my way during delivery or fertility issues, I can rely on Dr.Navi completely and trust him 100%. Communication and care for patient comfort is key. Dr. Navi has been my GYN for almost 20 years. He is kind, thoughtful, gentle and an excellent physician. He has a very busy practice. On my last visit, Dr. Navi was called away to deliver a baby. I was given the option of waiting, coming back in an hour or rescheduling. I opted to wait and I was allowed to wait in a comfortable, private examination room. I felt valued and considered. This kind of consideration and treatment is sadly rare these days.
