Hansel E. Ihn, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of pediatric and adult sports injuries. He sees patients at his practice in Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs, California.
Dr. Ihn was raised in La Crescenta, California. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley and obtained his Doctor of Medicine from UC Irvine. He completed his surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the Los Angeles General Medical Center and Keck Hospital of USC. Dr. Ihn continued his training with a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Utah. During his fellowship, Dr. Ihn served as an Assistant NBA Team Physician for the Utah Jazz and Assistant Team Physician for the University of Utah Utes (NCAA Div. 1 football and basketball).
