Leslie Tribbey is a seasoned nurse with over eight years of experience in pediatrics. Leslie has worked with children in various settings since the age of 20. She began her career as a children’s first aid provider at a summer camp, managing the administration of medication to children as well as providing emotional support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Leslie then gained experience in an acute setting, working in a pediatric emergency room. Upon graduating from Purdue University in 2016, Leslie went on to be a neonatal nurse at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she cared for infants with medical and surgical conditions associated with the complications of prematurity. The past 4 years she has worked with children in the primary care setting from birth through young adulthood to prevent and manage pediatric acute and chronic illnesses.
Leslie believes every child has the right to a healthy body, mind, and spirit. Her goal as a nurse practitioner is to help infants reach developmental milestones and help toddlers grow and interact with the world around them. In addition, she aims to educate preteens and adolescents to create healthy habits that will take them into adulthood. She is currently working to publish her DNP project titledSocial Media Safety Anticipatory Guidance in the Pediatric Primary Care Setting,which focuses on improving safety and mental health outcomes for adolescents.
Leslie holds a Bachelors degree in Nursing from Purdue University and a Doctorate of Nursing degree from Baylor University. She spends her free time with her two young daughters and her dog named Belle. Leslie primarily sees patients at our Mesquite location.
Amit Bajaj, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at Texas Primary & Pediatric Care in Irving, Texas. With a deep passion for pediatrics, Dr. Bajaj believes that every child is unique and special and loves to provide personalized care. He is a strong advocate for providing quality, safe, and passionate care.
A native of Kathmandu, Nepal, Dr. Bajaj graduated from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research in Pondicherry, which is known as one of the most prestigious medical schools in India. He then completed his pediatric residency at Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin. Dr. Bajaj also holds a Master of Business Administration from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Bajaj is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has a wealth of experience working with a diverse population across various states. He enjoys the diversity of pediatric medicine and has a passion for caring for children. His area of interest includes preventive medicine, asthma, and skin disorders. Dr. Bajaj is fluent in English, Hindi, Nepali, and Urdu, allowing him to serve the diverse needs of his community.
In his free time, Dr. Bajaj loves to travel and spend time with his family and friends.
Carrie Jones, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician committed to helping parents raise happy, healthy children. Through her work at Argyle Pediatrics in Argyle, Texas, she considers herself privileged to be part of the journey of each child’s life, celebrating all the milestones between infancy and high school graduation.
In addition to serving her patients in a private practice, Dr. Jones is also an on-staff pediatrician at Texas Health Resources in Denton, Texas.
Dr. Jones enjoys the small community setting of Argyle Pediatrics as it gives her more opportunity to devote her full attention to children and their family’s needs. She and her dedicated staff also stay actively involved in the Argyle and surrounding communities through activities with their own children.
Graduating with a degree in biology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Dr. Jones fell in love with the field of pediatrics while attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where she later received her medical degree. She went on to complete her internship and residency in pediatrics at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Jones loves spending time with her husband Richey and her children. She can often be found cheering on her three sons and daughter at the baseball fields, the theater, and on the basketball court.
