Her research focus was on the effectiveness of physical therapy diagnoses of lumbar disease versus MRI. Dr. Mosaddegh has worked in the orthopedic and sports medicine field for more than 20 years.

Dr. Cort has a wealth of experience in orthopedic physical therapy and pain management. He originally graduated from Howard University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy and returned to his alma mater to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Dr. Cort specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of persons with myofascial pain syndrome, chronic pain syndrome, and other myofascial-related disorders. He has also specialized in industrial rehabilitation. Over the years, he has brought his diagnostic and treatment skills to patients with chronic headaches/migraines of a soft tissue/myofascial origin and has impacted the lives of many headache sufferers.
He studied dry needling techniques under the tutelage of Dr. Jan Dammerholt and applied these techniques in the treatment of patients with chronic pain, especially in the injured worker population. Dr. Court has combined his back-to-work program (work hardening) with dry needling and other pain management techniques to resolve many workman’s compensation cases and successfully assist injured workers to return to work full duty.
Dr. Cort currently treats a significant number of injured workers, taking them from the point of injury to a successful return to work. He has and continues to treat patients with headaches and other orthopedic injuries successfully and finds pleasure in bringing relief to his patients.
Matthew Myers, PTA, is a skilled physical therapist assistant at the Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center location in Laurel, Maryland.
He graduated from Salisbury University in Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in community health. He furthered his education at Howard University and earned his physical therapist assistant license after graduation. Matthew is also an ACE-certified nutritionist as well as an ACE-certified personal trainer.
After first stepping into the gym with his father at a young age, Matthew became passionate about health and fitness. He is driven to help people improve their quality of life and to increase their happiness through health, fitness, and connection.
Outside of helping people at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center, Matthew enjoys martial arts and UFC, going to the beach, reading, and watching movies in his spare time. He is a big dog lover and a dedicated bodybuilder. A strong Christian, his faith is important to him.
Dr. Jonathan Stacey graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Medicine, Department of Rehab Science, and is the Clinic Director at the Olney office. He comes to PTSMC with a nearly sixteen-year history with the University of Maryland Rehab and Ortho Institute, treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological issues, ranging from spinal cord injuries and amputations to Guillain-Barré syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis. He also is very experienced with wheelchair seating and positioning as well as vestibular rehabilitation. Jonathan is also skilled at assessing and treating spine and pelvis dysfunction and gait and balance issues. He is very passionate about his career and views his patients as family members, deserving of all the same care, compassion, and attention. He also enjoys teaching. Dr. Stacey is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, with many former interns now successful DPTs. He also served as an associate professor for several years at the University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Medicine, his alma mater. She started her career at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
Emilia has treated patients ages 5 to 95, utilizing the McKenzie Method and her advanced manual therapy skills to do so. She has a special interest in impairments of the foot, ankle, spine, and shoulders and has provided care for patients with a multitude of diagnoses including neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and respiratory conditions. Her expertise also includes a focus on orthopedic conditions, debility, rehabilitation after surgeries as well as balance disorders, fall prevention, and chronic conditions.

Patience Nduka is a well-experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy who is dedicated to patient care at the Bowie and Laurel locations of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. She started her physical therapy career in Nigeria, where she earned her Master’s in physical therapy, from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. After completing her internship program, Dr. Nduka practiced physical therapy for a few years in Nigeria, where she gained extensive experience in various settings including general orthopedics, and women’s health through clinical rotation.
In the United States of America, Dr. Nduka earned her doctorate in physical therapy at Dominican University, New York. She is also certified in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy with Ola Grimsby Institute and Women’s Health.
Dr. Nduka utilizes a unique approach that combines soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and scientific therapeutic exercise progression to identify and solve patients’ problems from the root. Lise earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Hood College and a Certificate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University.
She has more than 25 years of experience in treating outpatient orthopedics, specializing in post operative joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs and sports injuries.
She has been practicing yoga for ten years and enjoys incorporating yoga into her patient routines when appropriate.

Eugene received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2001. Prior to his career as a PT, Eugene practiced for seven years as a Registered Nurse at Suburban Hospital.
