Gary Raymond, DPM, is a native of Gallitzin and a graduate of Penn Cambria High School. He is Board Certified in Podiatric Surgery, a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons and is a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He currently welcomes new patients at Advanced Regional Center for Orthopedics & Podiatry.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate and received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia where he ranked 4th in his class. After completing his surgical residency at the Community Hospital in Lubbock, Texas, Dr. Raymond returned to Altoona where he has been practicing since 1983. He was a member of the Pi Delta Honor Society, Stirling Hartford Anatomical Society and the National Dean’s List. He has been published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Journal of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
He lives in Hollidaysburg with his wife, Donna, two children, Carly and Alex and two grandchildren. Dr. Raymond enjoys working out, swimming, golf and spending time with his family.
