He currently holds staff privileges at Brooklyn One Health Systems, Beth Israel / Mt Sinai Medical Center, New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, and The Brooklyn Hospital Center.
When Dr. Makower isn’t spending time with patients, you can find him participating in postgraduate training programs in pediatrics, orthopedics, diabetic foot care, podiatric surgery, and sports medicine at each of his Hospital affiliates.
Dr. Makower also is proud to have had the opportunity to participate in medical missions in Guyana and throughout the Caribbean Islands, bringing his skill and care to men women and children in need.
Dr. Makower believes in working on health-related issues as a team with the primary care physician, patient, family, and associated healthcare professionals. The office emphasizes patient education and communication to tailor treatment plans for each patient on an individual basis.
