Raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Dr. Mirkovic completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She earned her medical degree at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine). She completed her post-graduate studies at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital of Chicago, during which she served as chief resident her final year. Sean Gocke, DPM, is an experienced podiatrist at West Suburban Podiatry in Western Springs and Justice, Illinois. He was awarded first place in the 2009 International Post Graduate Research Symposium at the Midwest Podiatry Conference in Chicago for his original research on the subject of hallux valgus. Dr. Gocke has also been published in peer-reviewed foot and ankle journals for his work.
