About Malcolm Smith, DPM
M. Derek Smith, DPM, is a highly respected podiatrist with more than 26 years of experience providing comprehensive foot and ankle care throughout Oklahoma. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wittenberg University and received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine with honors from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1996. Dr. Smith completed his residency training at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center from 1996–1998, gaining advanced experience in podiatric medicine, diabetic wound care, and foot and ankle surgery.
With offices in Ponca City and Stillwater, Dr. Smith specializes in diabetic foot care, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, hammertoes, tendonitis, fractures, sports injuries, ingrown toenails, wound care, fungal nails, and foot and ankle surgery.
