A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Hecht attended Case Western Reserve University to complete his undergraduate studies. He went on to graduate from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco as a Pi Delta Honor Society member.
Dr. Hecht is specialty board-certified from both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (1984) and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics (1988). He is the charter attending podiatric specialist for advanced wound care at The Center for Wound Care at Sherman Oaks Hospital and an invited attending specialist at The Wound Care Advantage at Verdugo Hills Hospital, providing advanced wound healing technology on a continuing basis.
