A graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, she completed a residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, serving as Chief Resident during her last two years.
While Dr. Friter recognizes the importance of a prompt and appropriate diagnosis, she has embraced a desire to be sensitive to each of her patient’s needs and desire for care. She is board certified as a Diplomat by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Tammer Elmarsafi, DPM, is a fellowship-trained podiatric surgeon at Vascular Surgery Associates, LLC, in Pikesville, Towson-SJMC, and Westminster, Maryland.
Dr. Elmarsafi completed his medical school training at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2016. After completing his residency training at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a Level 1 trauma center, he went on to complete his fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital, which afforded him the title of Assistant Professor at the Georgetown School of Medicine Department of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Elmarsafi specializes in treating all aspects of the foot and ankle. Having specialized training and expertise in complex lower extremity pathologies, he has given many national and international lectures on topics related to vascular and diabetes-related complications. In addition, he has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored several textbooks on a myriad of foot and ankle-specific subjects.
He is a highly skilled surgeon whose philosophy revolves around caring for all aspects of his patients, not only their lower extremity problems. Dr. Elmarsafi provides care to patients of all age groups, and complexity, and welcomes new patients and second opinions.

Ketan Kothari, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon by American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS), with more than 24 years of experience in podiatry. He works alongside a capable team at Frankford Podiatry Associates, PC, with three convinent locations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kothari earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Genetics from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He continued his education at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, earning his doctoral degree in podiatric medicine.
After graduating, Dr. Kothari completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency at Tenet Health System, Warminster, Pennsylvania. In additon, he has completed his Podiatric Orthopedic Residency at the Veterans Affairs Franklin Delano Roosevelt Hospital, Montrose, New York.
Dr. Kothari offers comprehensive foot care for all ages, from acute injuries and sports medicine to surgical correction of advanced foot deformites and diabetic limb salvage. He takes the time to understand each patient’s needs, helping them feel comfortable and confident in their care.

Dr. Patel’s interest in podiatry started with his passion in sports. He completed his undergraduate study at Rutgers University in New Jersey and his Podiatric education at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete a Residency in Podiatric Surgery at St.Joseph Hospital in Philadelphia.
In July 2011, Dr. Patel joined Frankford Podiatry Associates. He is currently on staff at Nazareth Hospital. He is devoted to the practice and well respected by his patients and peers. Dr. Patel is board certified in American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.

Dr. Jenna Brkich is a podiatric surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. She received her medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, after which she completed a four-year surgical residency at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Brkich’s residency training focused on podiatric medicine and forefoot surgery with added credentialing in ankle trauma and rearfoot reconstruction. Her training at Temple University Hospital culminated in serving as fourth-year Chief Resident. Dr. Brkich joins the Frankford Podiatry team with special expertise in foot and ankle trauma, limb salvage, and surgical and non-surgical treatment options for Charcot neuroarthropathy. A true Philadelphian, Jenna enjoys an active lifestyle, traveling with her husband and spending time with her daughter.
