Paul Whitehouse, DPM, is an experienced podiatrist with the team at Albuquerque Associated Podiatrists in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Whitehouse proudly treats any lower extremity ailments, with a particular interest in the care of traumatic injuries, deformity corrections, and reconstructive surgery of the diabetic foot.
Dr. Whitehouse's medical training began at the University of South Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences and public health. He then obtained his doctoral degree at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Iowa. Dr. Whitehouse completed his training with a three-year surgical residency at the New Mexico Veteran Affairs Healthcare System in Albuquerque. During his tenure in Albuquerque, he trained under the expertise and guidance of his colleagues, Drs. Matthew Cobb, Haywan Chiu, and Zachary Haas.
Dr. Whitehouse believes in a treatment approach that is logical, understandable, fitting to the patient's personal and professional needs, and rooted in Evidence-Based Medical (EBM) practices. He takes an active role in ensuring his patients receive the most current treatments supported by scientific literature. He has published original research in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and has presented his work at various foot and ankle surgical conferences.
In his spare time, Dr. Whitehouse can be found outdoors hiking, camping, and paddleboarding, with his spouse, Lisa, and their two dogs. He is proud to call New Mexico home and looks forward to treating those with foot and ankle needs in Albuquerque and surrounding areas.

Shama Pervaiz, DPM, MBS is a limb salvage fellow board-qualified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery at Albuquerque Associated Podiatrists in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is passionate about restoring function and preserving mobility for her patients through evidence-based medicine and compassionate care. Her dedication to limb salvage stems from witnessing the devastating effects of diabetic foot complications throughout her training and within her own family, as well as the challenges faced by those with limited access to quality healthcare – experiences that inspired her to pursue specialized training and a career devoted to prevention and preservation.
She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida, where she graduated with Pi Delta Honors and received the Clifford O’Connor DPM Memorial Compassionate Physician Award. She also holds a Master of Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Biological Sciences with a minor in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Pervaiz completed her surgical residency at Jackson North Medical Center in Miami, Florida, where she was recognized for her leadership and clinical excellence as a Medi-Law 2025 Resident of the Year nominee.
Throughout her career, Dr. Pervaiz has presented at multiple conferences, participated in a range of educational courses, and published research on innovative reconstructive techniques, including the use of keystone flaps in lower extremity surgery. She remains active in several professional organizations, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
A New Mexico native, Dr. Pervaiz is an avid traveler who has studied and volunteered in multiple countries, including Italy, Haiti, and Mexico. She speaks English, Italian, and Spanish fluently, as well as conversational French – a reflection of her love for connecting with people and cultures around the world.

Jeremy Strange, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at Foot & Ankle Specialists of New Mexico, with locations in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Strange has more than a decade of private practice experience and treats patients of all ages for any foot and ankle problem.
Dr. Strange graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2008 from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, Illinois. He then traveled back to Salt Lake City, Utah to complete his residency at Intermountain Medical Center.
Immediately following residency, Dr. Strange moved back to his childhood hometown of Vernal, Utah and practiced as a solo provider for 11 years. During that time he was able to hone his skills in all aspects of surgical and non-surgical podiatric medical care. He and his wife have since moved to Albuquerque to continue his career as a foot and ankle specialist. Dr. Strange is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery.

Dr. Morlock grew up in Golden, Colorado and graduated from Marist University in Poughkeepsie, New York with a degree in biomedical sciences. While at Marist, she played division one women’s tennis giving her an appreciation for the surrounding region while traveling for matches. She then went on to receive her podiatry school training from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Illinois.
She returned to Greeley, Colorado to complete a comprehensive forefoot and rearfoot surgical residency at North Colorado Medical Center where she served as chief resident. During her time in Greeley, she trained with leaders in bunion and elective surgeries. She then pursued an additional year of fellowship in Salt Lake City, Utah with an emphasis on limb preservation and Charcot reconstruction with the use of external and internal fixation.
After completing fellowship, Dr. Morlock moved to Albuquerque. She has an interest in treating all foot and ankle conditions ranging from elective surgery, wound care, Charcot reconstruction, and conservative management.
Prior to joining Foot & Ankle Specialist of New Mexico, Dr. Morlock married her husband in Santa Fe. They enjoy being active outside, playing pickleball and tennis, and exploring different parks around the country.
