Foot and Ankle Specialists is a great clinic with four available podiatrists. I see Dr. Jeremy Strange who is friendly, attentive, efficient, and clearly explains treatment. They have been established for a longtime on the WestsidShow moree in Rio Rancho. It is easy to park in front at the entry. The receptionist was pleasant and calm getting in person and phone calls handled at a steady pace. There is a packet of informational papers to fill out that thoroughly give a view of a patient. If The assistant, Chris, is a great asset to the staff. I recommend to get your feet and ankle care here!
I am happy that we found Dr. Strange and his firm. Frank and I have been grateful for Dr. Strange and his Staff for their gentle and efficient services. My technician on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 was Chris. She was very friendly Show moreand delicate in handling the toenail treatment that we needed. I have Dupuytren's Contracture in toes and fingers so I am a sensitive touch and I have it here with these skilled medical people. This is a great venue for Foot Care. Thank you to Dr. Strange and his excellent staff.
Jeremy Strange, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at Foot & Ankle Specialists of New Mexico, with locations in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Strange has more than a decade of private practice experience and treats patients of all ages for any foot and ankle problem.
Dr. Strange graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2008 from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, Illinois. He then traveled back to Salt Lake City, Utah to complete his residency at Intermountain Medical Center.
Immediately following residency, Dr. Strange moved back to his childhood hometown of Vernal, Utah and practiced as a solo provider for 11 years. During that time he was able to hone his skills in all aspects of surgical and non-surgical podiatric medical care. He and his wife have since moved to Albuquerque to continue his career as a foot and ankle specialist. Dr. Strange is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery.
When not treating patients, Dr. Strange enjoys mountain biking, golfing, kayaking and traveling with his wife.

Had terrible heel pain. Dr Strange was able to alleviate it immediately. He did a great job and I feel so much better
My experience as a new patient was disappointing. The front office staff was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the check-in process. Although my insurance had already been verified, I was told I could not be seen because I did not have a physical insurance card. I offered to provide a digital copy via email, but Eunice at the front desk refused without providing any clear explanation other than stating it was “company policy.” When I asked to speak with a manager, Eunice rolled her eyes while explaining why I could not be seen. While I waited in the lobby, she openly discussed my situation with others at the front desk, which felt disrespectful and inappropriate. Ironically, when the manager came out, she accepted the exact solution I had originally offered and simply had me email my digital insurance card. This resolved the issue immediately. Unfortunately, this was not a positive first impression. I will not be returning and would not recommend this practice to others. Healthcare organizations should prioritize patient service and professionalism. When patients feel dismissed rather than supported, it creates an experience that discourages them from coming back. I would not recommend this location.
Dr. Strange was very professional and personable. We had a great conversation while he worked on my big toe (partial nail removal). After numbing my toe I felt no pain during the procedure. He was thorough with aftercare instructions and encouraged me to call with any concerns or problems. He explained how the chemical used would prevent a portion of the nail from growing back. I’m very satisfied with the quality of care and the professionalism.
I called to ask if they do medi-pedi for pre-diabetic and the lady set up and appointment. They clipped my nails and then informed me that I didn't qualify for insurance to cover it. To me that is messed up. They took good care of me despite what and how it happened.

I have several problems with my feet: bunions, corns, unable to care for myself. I appreciate the care Dr. Strange gives me so I can continue walking without pain. Dr. Strange is a kind & competent physician.

He does not listen, makes promises then goes back on his word, has a god complex and struts his ego as if it were a tiger rug! He refused to acknowledge me and tried to make me feel small because my knowledge overlooked his. He falsely diagnosed me without proper knowledge or documentation. Disgraceful. He neglected me purposely. He practiced patient abandonment and negligence that could lead to malpractice. He promised an MRI then revoked his own recommended resource stating it was unnecessary. He is just lazy and negligent.

All good. Doctor Strange knows what he’s doing and he’s good at it. He’s not fazed by problem feet. He makes them better. He’s a good listener and make sure he understands what’s going on then decides how to help. Highly recommended
