Dr.Strange was great. He explained my foot problem better than anyone I have seen for this over a 20 year period. He told me how to manage when it flares up . Good Doc would highly recommend him.
I had my right ankle replacement surgery on 5/24/24, & I must say that my experience with Dr. Strange has been excellent from the pre-surgery meetings through the surgery & hospital stay & through each of our post-surgery meetings; the same is true for each of his staff members. My right knee had been replaced in 2008, & knowing that background, Dr. Strange was able to advise me what to expect this time in comparison to that experience. My progress through the post-surgery healing was virtually exactly as as he had advised it would be if I followed his advice on staying relatively immobile early on in order to let the prosthesis time to bond with my bones, then gradually increasing mobility including use of a removable boot for a time, then beginning PT at a facility & at home. Admittedly I didn't do my PT as religiously as I should have due to a chronic illness, but even so, I was walking slowly without a cane a week before my last appointment with Dr. Strange, & with his advice, I walked 1/3 mile right after my appointment with virtually no pain; I hadn't been able to walk that far 6-9 months before surgery nor had I been able to walk any distance without pain for 5 years.
