Mastering the art and science of surgical podiatry, Dr. Robert Joseph has dedicated the past ten years to refining his skills in the specialty of foot and ankle reconstruction and surgery. A graduate from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Ohio (1995), he completed a two-year surgical residency program and continues to share his knowledge and experience at the Teaching Residency Program at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Midway Hospital in Los Angeles, California. With multiple locations throughout the county of Los Angeles, Dr. Joseph's goal is to be the premier surgical podiatrist, providing innovative services (specialized care for the immunocompromised patient) and the best patient care possible.
Bruce Lehnert, DPM, is a board-certified podiatric surgeon at SOAR Spine and Orthopedics in Redwood City, California.
Dr. Lehnert completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1988. He then received his medical degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland in 1992, before studying at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System in association with Stanford Hospital. He went on to a reconstructive foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Hadassah Hospital.
Dr. Lehnert is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics.
Currently, an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Temple University in Philadelphia and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at his alma mater, the California School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Lehnert continues to focus on and foster education. He was formerly both a Clinical Instructor and an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Lehnert still serves as a residency director and continues his work with residents on a day-in and day-out basis.
In 1998, Dr. Lehnert founded the International Extremity Project, a charity-based medical mission focusing on correcting pediatric lower extremity deformities in developing countries. He is also well-published in numerous peer review journals. Dr. Lehnert has served as a sports medicine consultant to various teams.
Dr. Lehnert’s clinical and research focus is on correcting foot and ankle deformities, posttraumatic syndromes, tendon injuries, pediatric foot, and ankle issues, sports medicine, and biomechanical analysis.
