Abdow Friendship Pediatrics is a full service children’s health resource serving the community of Rockville, Maryland, and the surrounding region. Under the leadership of Victor Abdow Jr., MD, and Azra Jagani, MD, the practice has earned a reputation for excellence. 

From newborn care to well child visits, preventive health is a cornerstone of the practice. Everyone on the team shares a dedication to promoting healthy habits, beginning as soon as patients can communicate. Specialized exams are also available as needed. 

When something goes awry, Abdow Friendship Pediatrics is there to help. Sick visits offer a chance to immediately create a path toward relief, and injury care is also an essential service. Kids who experience mental health or behavioral health issues can also find the assistance and support needed. 

Having an in-house endocrinologist on staff makes it easy to offer Screening and treatment and enhances diagnostic abilities. Physicians perform blood draws as needed, and the staff can run many lab tests in-office. We also offer allergy testing in house.

Virtual visits are an outstanding option for kids who have compromised immune systems or otherwise prefer to be seen outside of a traditional office visit and are often available on demand. Same-day appointments and after-hours care are also options for urgent care needs. 

Best of all, the physicians at Abdow Friendship Pediatrics are happy to see other family members, regardless of age, when insurance rules allow for services like travel clearance. It can also come in very handy when multiple family members are ill.
