• Dr. Brenda Axmann’s office is located on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and has an all-female team of friendly and highly trained staff dedicated to providing quality healthcare.  We strive to provide the best, most comprehensive and compassionate gynecologic care possible with a focus on the individual needs of each patient.  Dr. Axmann has been practicing together for over 25 years, beginning with an obstetrics and gynecology practice then concentrating on gynecology since 2000.  Caring for women regarding their reproductive and women’s health care needs, the doctor is board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Our patients rely on us to provide everything from yearly examinations to gynecologic surgeries for women from puberty to after menopause.  Dr. Axmann is available to expertly counsel regarding birth control options, including IUDs and implants, and treat a variety of menstrual abnormalities including polycystic ovarian syndrome, fibroids and endometriosis.  

A special interest of our practice is health in the midlife of women, which requires attentive and careful consideration of the individual health history and special needs of each patient.  Dr. Axmann is a certified Menopause Practitioner through the North American Menopause Society, the leading independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the health and quality of life of all women during midlife and beyond.  The certification is awarded after rigorous testing that allows for a special knowledge of the treatment of midlife women.
