Calabasas Medicine Group is a concierge medicine practice, a unique medical model that includes comprehensive traditional medical care with far more accessibility for patients.
Through the fee-based concierge model, patients get expanded health care, including access to providers through telephone, email, and text. Patients get non-rushed visits, expedited (often same-day) appointments, little-to-no wait time, and highly customized preventive medicine, physical exams, and other medical care.
Concierge care provides patients with more personalized and extensive care.
The Calabasas Medicine Group team uses the most up-to-date diagnostic tools, such as in-office lab draws and BioFire respiratory virus panels, with PCR analysis of 15 viruses and four types of bacteria. Echocardiograms and other types of advanced imaging are also available conveniently in the office.
Patients can get most of the care they need onsite and through telemedicine. However, when specialists are needed, such as gastroenterologists or cardiologists, the Calabasas Medicine Group team coordinates care and works closely with the specialist.
Should patients need to go to the hospital for advanced care or surgery, the team visits them there. The Calabasas Medicine Group team can admit patients themselves at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center.

Dr. Cohen really cares about his patients. He does not rush you in a visit. He spends the necessary time with you and explains everything very clearly and rationale for why. He is great about filling out paperwork for leaves of absences. I highly recommend him.

I had a very last minute need to talk with Dr. Cohen the day before 4th of July and it was near closing time for his office. His office immediately sent me a link so we could have a zoom conversation and I could describe my symptoms. I was not feeling well and suspected I needed an antibiotic. After having a productive discussion, Dr. Cohen agreed and called in two prescriptions for me. I believe I kept him after hours but he is dedicated to his patients and he never once rushed me off the call. I am so happy I found him.
