Capital Women’s Care is the largest and most successful OB/GYN practice in the mid-Atlantic region. At Capital Women’s Care in Fairfax, Manassas, Haymarket, Virginia, the dedicated board-certified doctors and providers believe in providing patients with exceptional, personalized quality care in a trusting and safe environment where patients can feel understood and prioritized. Finding a trusted and experienced OB/GYN is an important step for women who would like to take control of their health and well-being. At Capital Women’s Care, the team is proud to offer their patients a complete spectrum of women’s health and OB/GYN services including pregnancy care, menopause treatment, pelvic floor and prolapse treatment, ultrasound services, minimally invasive procedures, genetic screening, and contraception management.

In pregnancy care, Capital Women’s Care believes every pregnancy is a unique and exciting experience. They strive to empower expecting mothers or couples in their care by discussing individual concerns and goals as well as options during the pregnancy, labor, and the delivery process to ensure that all decisions made are between you and the physician. They also strive to provide patients with the type of birth experience they desire as the team supports natural childbirth and vaginal birth after a cesarean section (VBAC delivery).

Capital Women’s Care also encourages immediate bonding with the baby by allowing babies born by vaginal delivery to go straight to the mother’s abdomen. The team encourages and supports doula services for their patients who desire them for further help and guidance during the labor and birth process. 

The gynecological care at Capital Women’s Care prioritizes preventive care as well as a problem treatment approach to any gynecological disorder instead of simply focusing on only diagnosing. They believe customizing each person’s care is a paramount step in our gynecological care. The team strongly encourages you to see your gynecologist or OBGYN doctor regularly. Pap smears and well-woman exams can help identify problems before they become more serious.

In addition to preventive OB/GYN care, the highly experienced doctors provide up-to-date care and treatment for conditions such as endometriosis, ovarian cyst, irregular and painful menstrual bleeding, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and overactive bladder. Capital Women’s Care utilizes the latest treatment modalities and technologies, including laparoscopic/robotic minimally invasive surgery, and gynecologic procedures, such as endometrial ablations, pelvic floor treatment, loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP), and other hysteroscopic procedure. Their goal is to provide an accurate, prompt diagnosis, and treatment that is personalized for each patient.
