Douglas Family Medicine is a thriving community practice serving the population of Castle Rock, Colorado, and the surrounding areas. As primary care health professionals, the team at Douglas Family Medicine concerns themselves with all aspects of their patients’ health, physical, mental, and spiritual, with a focus on preventive medicine. Services provided at Douglas Family Medicine include annual physicals, well-woman exams, and management of both acute and chronic illnesses. The team offers an extensive range of outpatient procedures including skin lesion removal, skin biopsy, arthritic joint injections, care of minor fractures and sprains, and SottoPelle® bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) to name but a few.

The practice’s onsite laboratory provides a comprehensive range of standard tests and diagnostic services, as well as fasting blood test panels, which are full lab studies using an advanced method of lipid screening, and CIMT (carotid intima-media thickness) testing to look for carotid atherosclerosis (a buildup of plaque in the arteries of the neck that can cause stroke).
