I did my research and decided Dr. Mohr would be a good choice. Boy oh boy did this payboff in spades. I had my first visit with Dr. Mohr yesterday. From the very beginning the entire staff was focused on me and my well being. Each and every interaction was filled with kindness, concern, and focus on my health. Then came the home run with bases loaded. Dr. Mohr entered the room. His focus, me. He took the time to really listen and understand my prior health history, current health, and my goals. He and I focused on what I needed to keep me healthy and move to a better me. This type of detail and caring is a lost art. One of my youth of over 40 years ago when patients weren't just a number in a computer system and some hospital was forcing a timer and pushing their services on the patient. Bottom line, if you're looking for one heck of a physician who cares. Dr. Mohr is definitely the one to see in the Florence area. I'm looking forward to partnering with him and his staff as long as they'll have me.

From my very first visit, he spent over 30 minutes simply listening to my concerns, answering questions, and providing thoughtful information. He included podcasts and research he personally recommended which is unheard of today in the medical field. He honestly continues to educate and find ways to help his patients. What I appreciate most is that he doesn't believe every problem requires another medication. Instead, he encourages healthy lifestyle changes, presents options, and empowers his patients to research and make informed decisions with confidence. He also respects the role of specialists, working alongside the rest of my medical team rather than rushing to his own conclusions. The entire office has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, and every staff member makes you feel like family instead of just another patient. Thank you, Dr. Mohr and your wonderful staff, for the care, compassion, and dedication you bring to the Pee Dee community each day.

About Family Medicine and Mohr

With a passion for family medicine, board-certified physician Richard Mohr III, MD, provides education and encouragement for his patients so that they can take a proactive role in their health care. He welcomes new and existing patients to Family Medicine and Mohr in Florence, South Carolina.

Dr. Mohr earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. After graduation, Dr. Mohr went through an internship and family medicine residency at McLeod Health Regional Medical Center in Florence.

By continuing his education and training regularly, Dr. Mohr stays abreast of the most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment solutions available. He maintains his board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine and specializes in lifestyle interventions over medications, when possible, for patients of all ages.

Dr. Mohr offers integrative solutions to help patients achieve their best health. Between medical weight loss programs, mole and wart removal, joint injections, and testosterone replacement, to name a few services, patients can get all of their needs met under one roof. The practice even offers cosmetic procedures, including Botox® and Juvéderm®.
