About Dr. Sharma

As the head of Fremont OB/GYN in Fremont, California, Dr. Padmaja Sharma strives to make her patients’ experience as pleasant as possible by offering compassionate, individualized, and personal care in a professional and comfortable environment.

Dr. Sharma received her medical education at the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India, and completed her internship at a base hospital in Delhi, India. After serving in the Army Medical Corps in India, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.

Dr. Sharma is fluent in Hindi and Urdu, understands Punjabi, Gujarati, and Bengali, and speaks medical Spanish.

When she’s not providing the highest quality of care to her patients, Dr. Sharma enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Her hobbies include cooking, hiking, table tennis, and listening to Indian music.
