Fuerst Eye Center is a state-of-the-art ophthalmology practice serving the communities of West Covina, California and Glendale, California. Ophthalmologists David J. Fuerst MD, Nicole M. Fuerst MD, and Jeannine W. Scheinhorn MD, and a trusted clinical staff, provide exceptional eye care in a compassionate environment. 

The skilled team of eye care professionals at Fuerst Eye Center provides both routine and specialty eye care at both of their Southern California locations. The doctors offer routine eye exams, glasses and contact lenses, and treatment for many eye conditions including cataracts, corneal disease, glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic eye disease, and eye infections. They are also known for their expertise in advanced eye surgeries that include LASIK, laser cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, pterygium surgery, and a wide array of corneal surgeries ranging from Intacs® to corneal transplants. Many patients are referred to Fuerst Eye Center by other physicians because of the team’s surgical expertise and their reputation for achieving excellent outcomes.

The woman who did my initial exam - im sorry I don’t remember her name but she has very long hair- was so sweet, it made my visit very pleasant and comfortable. Doctor Fuerst took extra time to explain some eye things to me, which made my visit educational! I appreciated that my exam was thorough and I felt taken care of.
