Many spinal disorders, including degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, facet joint arthritis, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, vertebral compression fractures, and persistent pain following spine surgery, are chronic medical conditions that often require thoughtful long-term management rather than a single cure. Similar to diabetes or hypertension, these conditions can frequently be managed successfully with modern interventional therapies that allow patients to remain active, maintain their independence, and avoid or delay more invasive spine surgery whenever medically appropriate.

What truly distinguishes Glaser Pain Relief Center is our collaborative multidisciplinary physician team. All three physicians are board-certified pain specialists, yet each brings a unique primary specialty background that provides patients with a broader and more comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment.

Jeffrey B. Glaser, M.D., founder of Glaser Pain Relief Center, completed his residency training at UCLA and is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. John Zheng, D.O., completed both his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency and Interventional Spine Medicine fellowship at UCLA and is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. John Kim, M.D., is board-certified in Emergency Medicine, completed his residency at Mount Sinai in New York, and completed fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management at Loma Linda University. Together, our physicians combine expertise from anesthesiology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and emergency medicine to evaluate complex spine disorders from multiple clinical perspectives and develop highly individualized treatment plans

Our Interventional Spine Center offers one of the most comprehensive selections of minimally invasive spine procedures available, including many advanced treatments not routinely offered by most pain management practices. Our physicians specialize in treating neck pain, back pain, sciatica, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, facet joint pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, vertebral compression fractures, neuropathic pain, and persistent pain following spine surgery.

Advanced treatments include epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), basivertebral nerve ablation (BVN), minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD®), kyphoplasty and vertebral augmentation, sacroiliac joint injections, facet joint injections, spinal cord stimulation (SCS), peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS), regenerative medicine procedures, and numerous other advanced fluoroscopically and ultrasound-guided interventional spine procedures designed to maximize precision, safety, clinical outcomes, and rapid recovery with minimal downtime.

Many procedures are performed in our state-of-the-art Medicare-certified, Quad A-accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center, where patients have the option of intravenous sedation or anesthesia for maximum comfort. This allows us to safely perform advanced procedures in a comfortable outpatient setting without the inconvenience and expense of a hospital while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
