About Karen E. Kennedy, MD

For expert gynecological care in Gulf Breeze, Florida, women trust Karen E. Kennedy, MD. She is the only gynecologist in the Florida panhandle, who is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society and uses ultrasound as a primary method for pelvic management.  She has done advanced studies in hormone therapy and cosmetic gynecology.

After earning a bachelor’s degree from the College of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in New Jersey, Dr. Kennedy went on to attend Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, also in New Jersey, for her medical doctorate. Her specialized training includes a one-year transitional residency at Jersey Shore Medical Center and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Pensacola associated with the University of Florida. 

Dr. Kennedy holds current medical licenses in Florida, Alabama, and New Jersey, and is a registered pharmacist in Florida and New Jersey. She has 25 years of experience performing gynecologic surgery, including pelvic floor repairs and labiaplasty. In her practice, she provides comprehensive gynecological services with an emphasis on prevention.

Dr. Kennedy enjoys outdoor activities including aviation, exercising, hiking, and snow skiing.
