Dr. Abalo always makes herself available to patients, taking a hands-on approach to helping them maintain or regain peak physical function. She helps patients build strength, reduce pain, and speed up recovery after injuries or surgery. Common injuries she treats include herniated discs, wear-and-tear of the spine, and joint injuries that cause neck, back, shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee pain.

KC Physical Therapy also specializes in Pilates-based physical therapy to help patients overcome their obstacles. Pilates-based physical therapy is an innovative technique that combines the strengthening and therapeutic movements of Pilates with traditional physical therapy to help patients of all ages achieve better flexibility, strength, and range of motion.

Dr. Abalo strives to ensure that she is up-to-date with current treatments by continuing to take educational courses. She specializes in myofascial release, neuromuscular training, Kinesio Taping®, and pain management.
