But this dermatology office genuinely exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcomed, heard, and cared for. The doctor, nurse assistant, and staff were all incredibly empathetic and patient. They listened to every concern without interrupting, rushing, or making me feel like I was taking too much time. I brought up multiple issues during my visit, and instead of telling me to schedule separate appointments, they addressed each one thoroughly and thoughtfully. That alone speaks volumes about their dedication and passion for what they do. You can tell this team truly cares about their patients — not just medically, but as people. They explained everything clearly, made sure I understood my options, and never once made me feel like just another appointment on the schedule. The level of professionalism, kindness, and genuine compassion here is rare. The office itself was clean, organized, and calming, and the overall atmosphere made the experience even better. I left feeling confident, informed, and extremely grateful to have found a dermatologist who takes their work — and their patients — seriously. I honestly don’t have a single complaint. If you’re looking for a dermatology practice that treats you with respect, listens fully, and goes above and beyond, this is the place. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

The office was spotless and wel... Read more **11/20/2025 – Morning Appointment** I’m not usually the type to leave reviews — life’s busy, and honestly, it’s just not something I do. But after this morning’s visit, I felt compelled to share. The office was spotless and welcoming, and the exam room was just as clean and well-kept. The chair I sat in was so comfortable I nearly dozed off — no joke. But unlike most doctor visits where you wait forever, the staff here were in the room and addressing my issue in under ten minutes. That alone deserves praise. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely outgoing. They made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. I normally see a different dermatologist but lost their number. Google pointed me to this office — and I’m really glad it did. I’ve officially found my new go-to dermatologist. One last thing: the doctor looks like she’s 18, but I found out she’s in her late 20s. Either she’s aging in reverse or she’s a vampire — either way, she knows her stuff. A plus!!!

Elyse Julian, DO, FAAD, is a prominent double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgery expert at Leading Edge Dermatology® in Plantation, Florida and Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Julian completed medical school at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she graduated at the top of her class and earned the titles “student doctor of the year” and “graduate of the year.” After a one-year internship at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, she finished a three-year dermatology residency in Orlando, Florida.

Today, Dr. Julian continues to contribute to the field of dermatology. She has published over 40 articles and has been involved in clinical research as well as teaching medical students and residents. 

She’s a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (ABMS) and holds memberships in the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Society of Mohs Surgery (ASMS).

She specializes in medical treatments within pediatric and adult dermatology, including Mohs surgery for skin cancer, and is an expert in cosmetic treatments, including Botox®, chemical peels, and fillers.
